I can't say I recommend Cunning Stunts, I've watched it and it has got nothing on Live Sh*t.

Anyway, I'm exhausted at the moment mainly because school is an hour longer on Wednesdays for me. What's more the first two lessons ( 1h 40mins ) on Wednesday are gym so by the last lesson I'm litterally falling asleep in my seat. Enough of that moan anyway, I'm home again.

/took the Cisco certification course with a really bad teacher who knew nothing about networking

It's really hard to learn about networking on a college level when you have a teacher that has never done it in her life. :\

I did it for college too, but I kinda had it easy, I am also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer :p (Although for the MCSE we barely touched bridges/routers, and switches/hubs etc. were never really talked about).

The band is Rake Sodomy, my younger brother's friends, they're very good (Especially considering they're only 16!), and a while ago I uploaded 2 of their tracks in the Death heads thread, I didn't realise anyone had downloaded them, but it seems Stoic has because he was telling me how he likes them! :naughty:

I just can't stand how this thing routinely locks up my system to get the Windows updates. On 4 separate occasions, it attempted to coerce me into installing Service Pack 2 (which is just short of useless and takes up way more space than it should) or it wouldn't let me onto the network again. I've been warring with for nearly 24 hours trying to get back online.

Even the campus tech support is getting annoyed with it. Half the people had installation problems that took just over a week to sort out. It tries to force you into installing updates you don't actually need to get at the noes you do need. Overall, it's just a pain in the [size=2]a[/size]ss to deal with. By the end of the next semester, all these updates it's rammed down my trhoat are going to be chewing up more space on my hard drive than most video games.

Ya, I was taking mine as a Junior in High School so it was hard for me since I had no previous experience in networking, especially with a teacher who only knew how to read from a book.

When did you take/get yours?

I would have wished my school had more technology programs when I was there, I would have taken advantage of them. The best I could do at the time was be a technology/network administrator intern. :\

Well actually *I* don't have the MCSE to my name, but I have completed all but the final test (Yeah sure $250 :(), the CCNE I did with my Year 11/12 (As a double major), at the time I loved networking, but upon completion of the CCNE, I decided I hate networking and want to try programming, unfortunately there were no programming courses available, so all I know about programming (Not much really, C++, Smalltalk, Python etc..) is stuff I have taught myself, and a small amount of stuff I have learnt at univeristy.

If you really would like to hear one of the songs, I will upload one maybe. :D

Programming is really easy if you have a teacher, im doing it at A Level. Well, i'm gonna quit school, so i did it for 7 weeks at A Level.

I really like programming because I don't find it difficult!
It's pretty fun in my mind.

I made a program, client/server, like a multiuser Notepad, works pretty well too :thumb:

Well, i only know Pascal.

I had a couple friends who did Cisco in high school and said it was super easy, but I'm a dumbsh[font=verdana]i[/font]t when it comes to things like that, so more power to 'em.

I love programming. I'm pretty good at it, I guess... I think my lowest programming mark ever was 93 percent. Right now I know Java, QBasic, Visual Basic, HTML, PHP and a little bit of a couple other languages.

Hardly call half of them languages :p

Nah, just learn the concepts of ONE language, and you can pick up any language easily, I learnt C++, and I'm programming a little in C# at the moment.
It's very easy, most languages follow the same logic. Wrap your brains around Smalltalk for a little while, fairly difficult to pick up I found, but it's an amazing language.

My school has some pretty sweet technology classes. I wanted to take more, but I had no room in my schedule. Too bad, as I was pretty good at programming.
