I think he said the label gave him a promo.

I've been listening to awefulsome mid-90s pop all day- Tony Rich Project, New Radicals, Jewel- since my girlfriend's selling a bunch of her old CDs she could never let go of before.
ugh. what a bitch. he better leak it to me

Kyle 07-19-2007 02:01 PM

Just loads of Bright Eyes stuff really. Trying to decide whether or not to go see him.
Just loads of Bright Eyes stuff really. Trying to decide whether or not to go see him.
I wouldn't tbh.

It'd be like a Dashboard concert except Chris is actually talented instrumentally so he can actually play his songs live.

pixiesfanyo 07-19-2007 02:55 PM

Second album is better in my opinion. Way more eclectic.

Interstate 07-19-2007 03:01 PM

Oh sweet I'll be getting that then

I'm more of an End Hits man.

Constellation mailed it to me a few weeks ago.

YourBiggestFan 07-19-2007 08:32 PM

Agh. Field Mice! I just discovered them. Really fantastic stuff- reminiscent of the Smiths, but with a bit of a twee/shoegazer feel to them. Why has noone told me about them before? I feel cheated.

Los Campesinos! - Sticking Fingers Into Sockets

I guess my favorite local band are no longer local anymore, Pitchfork gave them an 8.4 this morning. It's exciting and sad at the same time.

2muchket! 07-20-2007 06:14 AM

Finally found a copy of Red Medicine in my local HMV after 6 months of looking. It's there best album by far with 13 songs a close second still.

Yeah pretty much what pixiesfan said. I probably like the second one a little bit more but they're both ass kicking-ly awesome.

My Morning Jacket - Z

I've been on an alt/country kick lately and this is good stuff.
Interpol - Our Love to Admire
How is that? I'm thinking about whether to buy that or not.

I'm really diggin' it. I think it's better than Antics but not as good as Turn on the Bright Lights. But then again, I tend to be a bit biased when it come to Interpol. So... buy it.
