Festival Express > Woodstock

Not in message. I think Woodstock's message just represents everything classic rock is about, not that Festival Express didn't represent anything, but Woodstock represented more, at least to me.

RockAndRoll 03-23-2005 10:06 PM

I agree with pigs

Well yes (This is the 2nd time we have discussed this topic :p)

Importance wise, Woodstock > Festival Express.

But I prefer the F.E. music. :)

Many topics have been repeated, but look at the size of the thread, it's understandable.

Woodstock, would that be the awesome Geddy Lee in your avatar? If not, then who is it? That hair, paired with those glasses, look very familiar.

It's John Lennon.

PS: I absolutely hate Rush

jpj 03-24-2005 06:32 PM

It does look like Geddy though.

And Rush hates you back, whore.

RockAndRoll 03-24-2005 06:35 PM

edit: that looks more like Geddy than it looks like John Lennon :/

B0nz0 03-24-2005 06:53 PM

i could see it as a later lennon, but i failed to recognize it immediately. rush is a fantastic collection of musicians, but not the best song writers and geddy lee's vocals annoy me. however i worship peart.

They have plenty of great songs. maybe you just can't reccognise their songwriting talents, especially Neil's lyrics.

Hope it sounds good.

jpj 03-24-2005 07:05 PM

PPS: I enjoy John Lennon.

jpj 03-24-2005 07:13 PM

I think I might make a ukelele out of a tissue box. That would be fun.
