The song Stairway to Heaven ripped off? It's funny becuase it they sound almost alike.

The Lemon Song has the identical vocal melody, and I believe lyrics as "The Killing Floor" by Howlin' Wolf as well.

Howlin Wolf had a reasonable amount of popularity going for someone to easily notice this theivery. Jake Holmes didn't.

We're forgetting that "Since I've Been Loving You" is a direct rip-off of a Moby Grape song.

I'm pretty sure they ripped "Black Mountain Side" from somewhere.

Also, "Killing Floor" > "The Lemon Song", because Howlin' Wolf > Robert Plant

I need to get into Howlin' Wolf and a lot of other old blues guys.

I just found a reeeeeealy sweet Luther Allison album my dad has. He's one of my new favorite blues guitarists. I also got out an Albert King one, but I haven't listened to it much yet.

This makes me want a blues thread :upset:
