Nah I'm not wrong on this one, I can't just stop cold turkey...once you start you can't just give up such a thing int he snap of a finger. Best thing I can compare it to is jerking off, I dunno if you've ever done it, but it feels good...and at first it is not easy to just stop. I know its not addictive like meth...there is no rehab for pot.

Dude until yesterday I haddn't smoked for about two or three weeks. Not because I could't, but jut because I wanted to see if I could. Its not like I'm used to only doing it once in a while, I do it everyday and was able to stop cold turkey for about two or three weeks just fine.

I'm the one who hanges out with stoners, listens to stoner music and yet, by some freak accident does not smoke for any paticualr reason. Maybe I am rebelling agaonst my parents without knowing it

I honestly don't believe you...although I think I've smoked more at this point in my life then some of you may smoke in a lifetime, that may be the difference. I think too many kids on the internet or these forums just read erowid and pretend to be experienced, I've actually done the drugs I know what's addictive and what's not. Telling me you stopped for 2 weeks to see if you could is honestly useless, because you knew that you were going to smoke eventually in the future, either that or you were broke.

I can honestly say that I think I could quite if I really wanted to. I mean I missed it a lot the first week, but by the end of the second week I didn't miss it as much as you would think. It was nice being able to get things done for a couple weeks instead of just going home, smoking, and sleeping. I don't know man weed is one of those drugs where the expirence and side effects are different for everybody. You may have a more addictive personality then me. Its not fault of your own, its just the way you are. All I did was when I wanted to smoke I would just go for a walk. The walk provided me with the escape and self reflection I would get out of weed.

Mine don't smoke. I run year-round, get good grades, and smoke lots of pot.
