Sweet jesus....R&M is full of friggin' morons.

40 oz 2 freedom 11-29-2005 10:25 PM

Those are pretty much all good bands. Awesome fest.

SubtleDagger 11-29-2005 10:30 PM

Yeah, it's gonna be great, we gotta get a hotel room or something.

RetiredAt21 11-29-2005 10:31 PM

I wanna go to that. That's gonna rule.

SubtleDagger 11-29-2005 10:35 PM

Billy is like the king of booking great shows. He got us a show with Psyopus, Jefferson Plane Crash and I Object. He's an awesome dude.
Sweet jesus....R&M is full of friggin' morons.
Why do you say that? Some of those are among the coolest people I've met on MX.

RetiredAt21 11-29-2005 10:39 PM

The majority of the people in R&M are 'tards. There are some cool people there. But cool people in R&M are few and far between. Same with the pop-punk forum.

40 oz 2 freedom 11-29-2005 10:47 PM

Cool peeps hang here dog.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-29-2005 10:52 PM

Hardcore forum is where it's at these days.

NewKindofArmy03 11-29-2005 10:53 PM

That fest is so good.

40 oz 2 freedom 11-29-2005 10:55 PM

I finally got the mastered version of The Beat Goes On.

EVEN BETTER

Daytona scene rules.

Fuck Orlando. We've got the big guns.

EDIT: WTF I didn't bold and star Magrudergrind?!

/kills self

NewKindofArmy03 11-29-2005 11:03 PM

Magrudergrind is so good, I wasn't sure if anybody else here liked them.

SubtleDagger 11-29-2005 11:05 PM

They are awesome.

If only His Hero Is Gone were there, then I'd have an aneurysm.
I love Kids Like Us.

I think mullets are the worst haircut ever. Lots of scene chicks around here have a "psuedo mullet." Not really a mullet, but it sorta is. And it looks gross. Ewwie.
123. It's like a sea of psuedo mullets at like every local show around here that I go too... Blehhh.

I don't know about R&M forum, but the pop-punk forum is horrible.

Hang out in the deathhead's thread and you'll meet plenty of awesome guys. They don't all take to well to 'core music though. But if you like grind, black, death, or any other extreme metal, then it's tons of fun.

BuddyBigsby 11-30-2005 12:31 AM

that X12OuncesofHateX dude knows what's up.

victimofreality 11-30-2005 12:34 AM

He changed his name to NJMetalMeister I believe. And he is one of the awesome guys I was refrring to. He doesn't post as much any more though.
Go to louisville for my friend's show sometime this month.
Who's playing? Where is it? When is it?

I don't keep up with the L'ville scene much, so I have no clue what's going on up there.

victimofreality 11-30-2005 01:05 AM

Gonz, Brainzout, and some other bands that i have never heard of. It's sometime at the end of this month. Go and get a gonz shirt.

kingdead 11-30-2005 06:11 AM
Nate. He posted a picture of himself once with some gnarly black scene hair. And I remember him defending tight pants and small shirts. Nothing against it. but it's silly to make fun of yourself.
Black scene hair? I had a blue fringe once. I used to stick up for those kids alot more before moving to London.

PsyOpus fucking owns. How was playing with them?

victimofreality 11-30-2005 11:03 AM

In a selfish way, when bands do actually come, I love being in a ****ty scene. The bands appreciate you so much just for not being a douche.

Last night, me and my friends were practically the only people not just standing around, and we got thanked by at least one person from every band. During the With Honor set, I was up front pretty much the entire time, and after they ended on Bridges On Gaps, the singer said "that was yours".

During Most Precious Blood's set, me and one of my friends were sitting in the hall trying to find someone to pick us up to give us a ride home, and the singer for with honor, took us into the room for the bands, and gave us some root beer.

I don't care what you say, this band has always owned. The clean vocals could go though.

kingdead 11-30-2005 01:39 PM

Pinch harmonics are everything thats wrong with Metalcore, unless its Fordirelifesake.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-30-2005 01:42 PM

All metalcore has going for it these days are pinch harmonics. But msot bands suck these days.

BuddyBigsby 11-30-2005 01:56 PM

Metalcore before 2000 = Godly
