Derek: Is Haggis any good?

Neoteric 12-26-2007 01:41 PM

Haggis is pretty good, yeah. It has more taste than other meat products.

I watched some of that Planet Earth series last night, it was crazy.

gmoneyguy 12-26-2007 02:02 PM

I haven't seen that, but the Universe series is pretty rad.

ATM 12-26-2007 02:03 PM

Hey Kage, keep an eye on your mail.

Shattered_Future 12-26-2007 02:06 PM

What this video lacks in audio, it makes up for in AWESOME BICYCLE ACCIDENT!

Pretty nuts.

I keep missing out on that. I heard it's crazy cool.

What were they talking about last night?

i am the robots 12-26-2007 02:59 PM

I just read Jason's announcement... where the hell do I ever act like I'm from the hood.

TojesDolan 12-26-2007 03:04 PM

I cracked a hood open last night.

i am the robots 12-26-2007 03:05 PM

Probably when you were on that "hustlin'" kick.

i am the robots 12-26-2007 03:06 PM

Oh, well in Jason's case, he needs to stfu then for not knowing what the hell I was referencing.

I've been reading this book called Play Money. It's surreal. The highest real-world csah transaction made for virtual goods was $100,000 spent to acquire an "Asteroid Space Resort" in Project Entropia in October of 2005.

World of Warcraft accounts from retiring players are fetching in excess $2000 on eBay.

Small businesses specializing in farming and trading virtual goods are pulling down six figures annually.

In 2001, an economics professor actually released a report showing that EverQuest's virtual world of Norrath had a GDP of $2,280 per capita. As an economy, it was ahead of Russia, China, and India.

The exchange rates on virtual currency now rival real-world ones. Gold in World of Warcraft exchanges for a rate comparable to the Russian ruble.

Is it wrong that I'm trying to think of ways to make this work for me?

i am the robots 12-26-2007 03:07 PM

Kids take WoW too seriously.

I'm gonna start playing Hellgate London.

Sweet. If I get high for the next 5 or so days I will have been high at least one time a day throughout break.

I feel achieved.

gmoneyguy 12-26-2007 03:20 PM

Wait till smoke bud becomes an everyday thing.

Nostalgia 12-26-2007 03:23 PM
