Midnight Walker 04-01-2005 03:26 PM
It's cool, he has a weird voice.
Never heard Bill Ward solo, though.
Actually geezer doesnt sing. On the first album its the guy from Fear Factory( I dont know his name) , on the second album (which I wanna get) and the upcoming one a guy called Clark Brown is on vocals.

IAJP 04-01-2005 04:46 PM

You sure?
Ah well, I assumed it was him.
Best Butler song: Man In A Suitcase.

rippa32 04-01-2005 04:52 PM

Yeah thats what I assumed but he musnt be a very good singer.

Brew 04-01-2005 05:05 PM

Midnight Walker 04-01-2005 05:07 PM

ToRidTheDisease 04-01-2005 05:14 PM

Howdy. :chug:

Brew 04-01-2005 05:25 PM

Welcome back

I have no idea how Burton sounds on the Geezer records, I'll look into buying them soon.

For now I'm off to sleep or something along those lines.

Night all

JACKROXYOU 04-01-2005 06:20 PM

**** time zones

rippa32 04-02-2005 05:17 AM

Very true. As for the geezer albums does anyone know if they are easy to find in shops? because I havn't really specifacally (spl) looked before.

Brew 04-02-2005 05:30 AM

I found one in an independant shop a few years ago, I didn't buy it though.

That shop closed down for good about 2 years ago, it was a great shop - sold cd's, patches, t-shirts, hoody's, badges etc...

I've not seen one since, I saw Iommi's first album in Virgin about a year ago.

rippa32 04-02-2005 05:38 AM

is that the DEP sessions?

Brew 04-02-2005 05:51 AM

Nope.

Its the one he did in 2000/2001 with aload of different people singing on it.

rippa32 04-02-2005 06:13 AM

Ive heard samples of that. I didn't really like it all that much. What was most surprising was the completely different sound to sabbath.

PIGS(1 different one) 04-02-2005 11:07 AM

Just starting to get into them a bit more, I love Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, it almost has a prog feel to it.

So does Megalomania from the Sabotage album. You should look into that.

King_Karl 04-03-2005 02:49 AM

Buy Vol 4.

pigonthewing82 04-03-2005 02:57 AM

What do you guys think of the instrumental solo durning Wicked World on Past Lives.

rippa32 04-03-2005 04:34 AM

Bloody awesome. I dont usually like jazz but that freeform stuff that comes out of no-where is really good.

Anything after vol. 4 is pretty proggy. Especially Technical Ecstacy and Never Say Die! Check them out.
