He doesn't know. He's an idiot.

AIRIC 10-12-2006 04:56 PM

Ignorance is really making itself known in my life today concerning things like these. It's making me kind of irritated.
If you wanna be all anarchy and "apocolyptic"
do the following:

Give your guitar to a poor child in Africa who will actually appreciate it
Go back to your house
Lock all doors
Seal all windows
Make a bunch of pounds of homemade explosives
Set them off, killing yourself so ****tards like yourself can be erased off the planet for being so pathetic.

Anarchy is for confused punks, get into straight edge, be nice to people, it makes you feel good. Killing people makes humanity look stupid. Think about it. God made us. He is testing us to see if humanity is fit for existence, and idiot bands that support violence make us look unfit for survival.

If you don't wanna kill youself, then burn all your anarchists/apoc albums and vow to never purchase one again. I am into hardcore and stuff, but that crap your talking about is rubbish. Get a life. None of those bands would do anything if the world's economic and social ladders collapsed, they go into their rooma and cry/or use the anarchists cookbook to try to make explosives and do it wrong and kill themselves. I'm sure 99.9% of those posers cant even shoot a gun. Get a clue will you please?
Good.

Subvert_bassist 10-12-2006 09:37 PM

He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's taking his view on anarchists from Hot Topic.

Besides, I could shoot circles around him.

RetiredAt21 10-13-2006 10:34 AM

He's the kind of person I wouldn't mind stabbing.

Subvert_bassist 10-13-2006 09:03 PM

I wish I could push him off a very tall drop and listen to his thoughs as he fell.

i was thinking about that at work today: if you fell off a big cliff or some ****, you'd have a lot of time to think, "Oh ****, this is gonna sting."

whiteminority 10-13-2006 09:03 PM

Hahahaha, yeah that would definately be interesting.

AIRIC 10-13-2006 10:57 PM

I wonder if you feel anything jumping off a building. I would hope not.

Subvert_bassist 10-14-2006 03:39 AM

Well, I imagine that if you fell on your feet, you'd feel like a split second of pain, but if you went head first, you'd just die right away.

RetiredAt21 10-14-2006 10:37 AM

Dude, nice avatar. I love Graves At Sea.

Subvert_bassist 10-14-2006 12:51 PM

Man, you and me both.

Subvert_bassist 10-16-2006 01:20 AM

This is pretty much a bump post.

I saw Matty Pop Chart and Ghost Mice last night. It was hella sick, crazy sing alongs. I got a couple pics.

I found a grey hoodie in the free clothes box at Gilman, so Chris Clavin busted out the screen printing stuff and we printed me a free Ghost Mice hoodie. Cool.

Also, preceeding the show, I had an awesome day of record shopping, buying hemp stuff off of hippies who run booths on Telegraph Ave, and eating vegan pizza at Lanesplitters.

RetiredAt21 10-16-2006 08:25 AM

Awesome. Sweet pics.

Johnny Quest. 10-17-2006 03:32 PM

Trying to get into Combat Wounded Veteran, anyone else like them?

whiteminority 10-17-2006 05:27 PM

Yeah, me.

RetiredAt21 10-17-2006 05:35 PM

I like them quite a bit.

Feel The Darkness 10-17-2006 07:41 PM

I love how that douche mentioned straight edge in there. I'm a straight edge anarchist, ZOMG!1!!!!1!one!

Subvert_bassist 10-17-2006 07:46 PM

combatwoundedveteran rule.

RetiredAt21 10-17-2006 08:22 PM

Hell yeah. I think they are pretty unique.

Johnny Quest. 10-18-2006 11:40 AM

I'm not a big fan of grind, i'm only really warming to it. What's the best place to start with CWV.

RetiredAt21 10-18-2006 11:42 AM

I Know A Girl Who Develops Crime Scene Photos.

whiteminority 10-18-2006 11:54 AM

Duck Down for the Torso.

Subvert_bassist 10-18-2006 01:15 PM

Their split with Scrotum Grinder is what made me like them.

RetiredAt21 10-18-2006 06:10 PM

Scrotum Grinder!

whiteminority 10-18-2006 06:12 PM

Everytime I see that name I cringe.

Shut up.

Subvert_bassist 10-22-2006 11:05 PM

Haha, you guys are characters.

We had our first full-band practice today since adding our second guitarist. We made one new song, and it's immensely better than our old stuff. Imagine a Dystopia style intro, into a song that's like a mix of heavy Converge stuff, Kylesa, and Tragedy. We've taken pretty good use of the dual guitars. Once we get like three songs done, we're going actually into the studio to get a good-quality demo done. I'll post a link to them here later when we do record. Amaurëa is a whole step above what Doves Lie Dead was, musically and creatively.

RetiredAt21 10-23-2006 10:00 AM

That sounds f'ucking awesome. I wanna hear some of that s'hit.

I've been checking your Myspace periodically for new stuff.

Subvert_bassist 10-23-2006 08:48 PM

Give it a couple months, and we should have some new stuff up. I'll post in here when we do. Just bear with us as we kinda get situated with our new guitarist and ****, ya know? We've dropped all but like two songs, and he doesn't even know those yet. But that's okay, because he helped create our best yet, so we should be back and better than ever in a little bit.

RetiredAt21 10-24-2006 10:26 AM

Awesome.

Subvert_bassist 10-24-2006 03:01 PM

Thanks.

Anyone like Baroness? They're like if you mixed Kylesa and Circle Takes the Square. Which makes sense, considering they're from Savanna, Georgia.

http://www.myspace.com/yourbaroness

Damn. How amazing bands can one town produce?

AIRIC 10-24-2006 03:09 PM

I have both First and Second but I haven't listned to them in a long time. Gotta check that out again later.

Subvert_bassist 10-24-2006 11:38 PM

Both First andSsecond are brutal. I like the very end of "Son of Sun", just after the real slow part.

I just checked them out, and I must say, I'm very impressed. That band rips.

Subvert_bassist 10-26-2006 12:01 AM

Oh ****. I got the Kylesa album, the one that doesn't come out until Halloween, downloaded bootleg today. Dude, so brutal. The song on their Myspace is like a teaser; it's so much better than that song lets on.

RetiredAt21 10-26-2006 12:02 PM

I can't wait to hear that stuff.
