Ehh...

I get off work at 5, and would have to leave by 8 to get to NOLA on time. So that leave me about 3 hours to get some people together. If I can't get at least one person to go with me, I probably won't go.

The change in mindset come from the hallucinations. Because you are seeing things differently you think about things differently. You'll probably just be too enamored with your hallucinations to have any philosophical epiphany. One tip is not to fight the trip and wish you were sober because that will only cause you too flip out. Just let the trip do its thing and enjoy.

problem is ive never had a good shroom experience, so im worried that i wont be able to handle acid.

The first time I bugged out because I started wishing I was sober, but after that I learned to relax and everything was enjoyable.

I have an anxiety disorder. Ill probably force myself to relax and enjoy it.

If you are taking an SSRI one hit will do nothing to you.

Acid is overrated though. Everyone goes into it for the first time expecting to freak out and see cartoons and accidentally go streaking in public and that's really not how it goes.

Its definitely not like that, but depending on how dilute the LSD is and how many takes you hit, some trips can be pretty intense.
