As far as the best black metal album in 2007, Profanatica clearly is the winner. What sets them apart from all the crap you people are mentioning is the fact that Profanatica plays black metal.

Yes, the last song is devastating and the whole album is great and has perfect sound, especially the vocals.

Well it has a different, more fuller sound, better produced etc. Stylisticaly it is very close to the old stuff but with some new ideas.

I've had the new Profanatica album for a while now, but I still haven't listened to it yet.

The Havohej full length is quite good, too.
