I do. Bah, this Rap or Hip Hop conversation is over. *Turns on Notorious BIG- Juicy*

LapraS 05-04-2007 10:23 AM

Rap is a part of Hip Hop, okay? I've made that clear like a million times. I've not changed my opinions at all. RAP is not the SAME as Hip Hop..get it? Jeez, get over it.

LapraS 05-04-2007 10:26 AM
Because rap and hip hop are the same thing.
No, it's not, like you acknowlegded yourself.

Umm... read the last few pages again. You said Spat was confusing two music genres, then you said rap and hiphop music are the same thing.

LapraS 05-04-2007 10:39 AM

Emphasis on 'music'.

Sepstrup 05-04-2007 10:41 AM

So he wasn't confusing two music genres as you said?

LapraS 05-04-2007 10:45 AM

No, he wasn't. He was confusing terminology.

Sepstrup 05-04-2007 10:56 AM

So why did you write:
What's funny about someone not being able to distinguish two music genres?
LapraS 05-04-2007 11:00 AM

Because I made a mistake?

Rams 05-04-2007 11:16 AM

But you met the Wu-Tang Clan

LapraS 05-04-2007 11:19 AM

I did, yes.

Rams 05-04-2007 11:22 AM

Wu-Tang Clan haven't been relevant for close to 15 years now. It's basically two outside members, Ghostface and Masta, who are carrying their name on.
Yeah, I checked out those tracks on Myspace. Really fantastic production. That's the only thing I was worried about. Pharoaheeee
About 80% of the album is out. I'm upset it doesn't seem "Got You" will be on it.

LapraS 05-04-2007 11:33 AM

I've been to a concert, and RZA welcomed me to the stage.
And The Wu was released 7 years ago, so what are you talking about?

LapraS 05-04-2007 11:37 AM

No, once.

LapraS 05-04-2007 12:20 PM

You're disturbing.

LapraS 05-04-2007 12:29 PM

You possess Oink invites?

Sepstrup 05-04-2007 12:33 PM

Let's discuss the new Pharoahe Monch instead. I want the new album even though he cancelled his concert at Roskilde last year :( (I saw Why? instead, which was also awesome)

Kyle 05-04-2007 12:53 PM

Pharcyde is good.

I only know 1-2 Pharoah songs and they were kinda funny.

"Put your hands, up in the air and then spread them"...was that him?

ALSO - Rap, Hip Hop and Jazz Fusion are all the same thing.

Eliminator 05-04-2007 12:57 PM

jazz fusion what

Kyle 05-04-2007 01:03 PM

Your Avatar is wonderful.

Rams 05-04-2007 01:57 PM

And they have a CD coming out in 2 months that no one is talking about. Why? They haven't been relevant since Liquid Swords/Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

It's Pharoahe, and you're ****ing up. "Stray Bullet" is an amazing song.

LapraS 05-04-2007 02:19 PM

Those are solo albums by GZA, Shallah Raekwon.
Those were classic albums, and they don't have an album coming out. Triumph on Enter the Wu was a great track.

They do have an album coming out, and Triumph was off Wu-Tang Forever. And he obviously knows OB4CL and Liquid Swords are solo albums, but they still propelled Wu-Tang as a whole.

"Six long years after releasing their last album IRON FLAG the remanining members of the Wu-Tang Clan will come up with their fifth album on the scheduled date of 7/7/07. The album is featuring Cappadonna, yet unpublished material by ODB and the longly announced tribute song LIFE CHANGES for ODB who passed away in 2004."

Thanks for playing.

Tyler 05-04-2007 09:16 PM

But Rams, he met all of the Wu-Tang Clan.

sgrevs 05-05-2007 02:13 AM

If I'm listening to Del, is it rap or hip-hop?

Wu-Tang album will be mediocre methinks:(
and OB4CL2 will be one of the best rap releases of the year. i hope.

LapraS 05-05-2007 02:57 AM

I forgot about Iron Flag, anyway, their last decent album was Wu Tang forever.
We've had some great solo albums, though; Methodman-Tical. GZA- Liquid Swords, Raekwon- Only built for Cuban Linx, Ghostface Killah - Ironman, Ol' Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36 Chambers.

Rams 05-05-2007 08:36 AM

All of those solo albums are over 10 years old and getting close to 15 years old.

LapraS 05-05-2007 10:38 AM

So?

Tyler 05-05-2007 11:39 AM
their last decent album was Wu Tang forever.
