'Iron ons' never quite work out for me. I suggest using stencils.

don't care.

Haha, last night at a show some kids had jackets with PUNX written on them. Made me laugh a bit.

this is the DIY thread, i'd say discouraging walmart-shopping is appropriate.

i saw a girl at my school with a trucker hat that said 'punx' on it, so i laughed at her and she looked at me funny
How quality are iron on logos, like with the paper you'd buy at wal*mart?
They only get bad after more than a year of being worn. I've got a couple that are a year old and they're still in good condition. Don't buy the paper form wal-mart though, go to an actual computer store.

I've got no idea what that last one is but the other ones look good. How did you make the 7Seconds stencil?

what says cbk?

RCVA 07-11-2005 11:07 AM

it's more of a hardcore forum question but they don't have a DIY thread and people in the punk forum are generally less condescending.

Major General Despair 07-11-2005 11:46 AM

Acronyms are DIY

invrtedflag 07-11-2005 08:17 PM

hell yeah they are

gastery6 07-11-2005 08:31 PM

Instead of looking through the whole thread. Which way of making a t-shirt lasts the longest. Is it stencils or iron on?

Anxious 07-11-2005 08:53 PM

I'd say stencils, as long as you use good fabric paint.

RudeBoyStompin 07-11-2005 10:00 PM

Probably stencils. I'd imagine iron ons tend to fade/peel off eventually. If the fabric paint starts to fade you can always touch it up with a fabric pen if necessary.

The irony there is almost beyond comprehension.

it took me a minute to find the irony but then i got it
Instead of looking through the whole thread. Which way of making a t-shirt lasts the longest. Is it stencils or iron on?
I'd definitely say stencils. Iron-ons get all cracked up and peel, while the fabric paint does not.

metty16 07-12-2005 08:05 PM

all my shirts peel. I hate it

...its cheaper though

metty16 07-12-2005 08:06 PM

^for iron on
all my shirts peel. I hate it

i disagree, a stencil can be used more than one and a can of spray paint is cheaper than transfer paper.

metty16 07-12-2005 08:54 PM

I meant for mass production, like for companies and stuff

asdf 07-12-2005 09:05 PM

This is my world/inferno friendship society shirt. It's not on an actual shirt, though, just my practice shirt. I don't have another plain black shirt yet.
