I just bought my first acoustic guitar off a friend. I don't know an awful lot about it, but it's a yamaha and I got it for £60 with a case and everything. It seemed like a good deal, and even if it's not, i'm pretty happy with it.

My fingers hurt though :upset:

Mmmyes, those things hurt your fingers a lot more than good ol' electric.

My acoustic has never quite hurt my fingers. It makes my fingers smell like rust though, because I haven't changed the strings in four years. :( And don't plan on doing so anytime soon.

I bet that guitar sounds really good.

Then again my spare guitar has 1-2 year old strings, with one missing, and a bunch of dead frets. Right now they're all tuned to the same note. Fun.

It doesn't sound too bad, actually. I just can't stand the smell.

It's a Yamaha classical acoustic with three nylon strings and three wound ones. It doesn't sound gorgeous, but it sounds like a decent guitar, even though it's atleast twenty years old.

My back-up electric (Squier Bullet) has so many dead frets, the neck pickup is dying, and the low E string is too close to the neck and makes a snagging sound against the frets. It's kind of cool in a way, though. It has a garage-rock quality to it that's cool if you're into that sort of thing.

My backup piece of crap is nice to ram into the floor when I'm angry. Or like, put the headstock into the ground, hit the strings, and then put a bunch of pressure on the neck and putting it way out of tune.

I've taken it apart on a couple of different occassions and it sorta survived.

I don't recall the dreams I had this morning.

I recall having a quick vision as I was slipping out consciousness while listening to classically influenced symphonic metal that I wasn't enjoying much, though, which involved someone throwing a Molotov cocktail at an ambulance with a burn victim in it during a riot. :amaze:

No sex dreams here. Unless I'm having a lucid dream and decide I want to have sex. But there's no fun in that.

My dream, is a little hazy now in my memory, but it involved my parents throwing money at me, and me throwing money at them - and then somehow all of it was lit on fire and burned.

In my dream someone got me something from the library and it was a day overdue. God daamn, it was nightmare.

I love lucid dreams.
