Welcome to the fold, Leah.

You missed another "songs for a girl" type thread in the Beginner's Section of the Guitar forum. It's already dead, but was pretty entertaining while it was alive.

LarsAgi (AKA. Iceberg007), he was being sarcastic.

Hey there.

Oh really? It's still there then, maybe I'll check it out. I could use a good laugh.

Iron Man 08-18-2005 04:41 PM

I must have missed this. Because usually it's really obvious who the R&M "punching bag" is, and why/how they became the target of harassment.

ATM 08-18-2005 04:44 PM

He is just extremely annoying, and not very bright.

You seem to have a knack for finding these kinds of threads.
....and who the hell is the "just play some nice chords" dude?

Well, that was just pathetic compared to the other thread. At least there was some intelligent conversation going on in the old one.

That guy that wrote out the tab and all is so cheesey.

Steerpike 08-18-2005 04:47 PM
At least there was some intelligent conversation going on in the old one.
Mostly by us.

But yeah, that one was truly pathetic. As I said about the tabber, "Fastest route to a restraining order, right there."

I really think that for some of these schmucks, talking to a woman means thinking out loud while whacking off to a back issue of Jugs Monthly.
Mostly by us.
Definately. Our little educated group, there.

You know, it really wouldn't surprise me.

I was actually just looking at the introduce yourself thread for the regulars and am amazed at the age group on this board. I thought there would be non-teenagers, actually...around your age or older. There's an awful lot of 15-16-17 year olds. Maybe that's why they keep making threads like that; they're at that age...

They probably think all women are the kind you would see in a chick flick. They're going by charicatures of women rather than actual human beings here, I'd imagine.

Taste_My_Scythe 08-18-2005 04:56 PM

Alrighty. I'm going to TRY to be right back, I have to do another damn breathing treatment. Grr. See ya all later maybe.

Not all 15-17 year olds are immature assholes. At least, I'd like to think I'm not...heh. But I do see where you're coming from, knowing people at my school...

When the fuck have I tried to chat you up/acted like a prick to you?

Riva 08-18-2005 05:06 PM

Yes, Jake. You chat everyone up... Remember that time you chatted me up on MSN? THE HORMONES ARE RAGING!

So, how is your day, everyone? I just woke up, and I'm feeling good. I made dinner for my mum, sister and my girlfriend. Frenched lamb rack with pesto and proscuitto wrap, roasted with potato and baby spinach. Served with fresh steamed veggies.

Dessert was hot sticky date pudding with toffee sauce, caramelised pecans and English Toffee ice-cream.

It's been awhile since I stopped being a regular here...I have to catch up on the times.

I remember that thread (the one from a few months ago, at least). I also remember leaving for a month and coming back to find the thread still going, just with different morons.

/me integrates Craig.

So, my 19th birthday is on October 25th. Not long now. I'm kinda scared, cos in Australia, 19 is when you get your clan tattoos.
