I did that to everyone I knew last week. Goodtimes.

Scuba_Steve 08-12-2006 10:05 PM

guys, I have a dillemma.

I work at a record store, and one of my co-workers is getting on my nerves.
first, I'm freaking 15, he's 18 and he always wants to hangout after work or on days off and stuff.

This wouldn't be bad, except for the fact that he is really creepy. All he talks about is porno and drugs. And he has little to no sense of humour.

However, I am bigger than him, so I'm not really scared of him or anything I just dont want to hangout with him. How can I avoid hanging out with him without being an *** (cause you know, we work together)

Broken Arrow 08-12-2006 10:08 PM

Um dont be a pussy and tell him you dont want to. jees.

Scuba_Steve 08-12-2006 10:10 PM
Um dont be a pussy and tell him you dont want to. jees.
but we have to work together. And judging by his personality he'll get all depressed and anti-social and stuff.

sweboy 08-12-2006 10:14 PM

Tell him you're attracted to him. He'll either get scared and leave you alone, or turn out to be gay and give you love. It's a win/win situation.

Broken Arrow 08-12-2006 10:14 PM

So......?

If you care that much you should hang out with him.

nutty_bar 08-12-2006 10:14 PM

Make other plans before he asks you.

nutty_bar 08-12-2006 10:16 PM

Scratch my last thought, just give me his e-mail, I will give him this link, and whala! Your troubles are over.

Scuba_Steve 08-12-2006 10:18 PM

lmao, that'd be an interesting (and unique) way of settling it.

but yeah, I might just tell him.

edit: nvm, not as unique as sweboy

Oh great advice giving community thread of the alt/indie variety, I also have a dilemma.

There's this really awesome guy I've been hanging out with a lot recently, and I'm really starting to get attracted to him. He's nice and cute and most importantly listens to great music and plays bass. My problem is, he has a girlfriend. A girlfriend, mind you, that he hasn't seen in 2 months (for unknown reasons).

Should I try to win him over, or sulk and write some hit songs?

Win him over, definately. The conditions are right.

masada 08-12-2006 10:37 PM

Brainwash him and then slit his girlfriend's throat and rape her.

And stuff.

Broken Arrow 08-12-2006 10:40 PM

Heh, I read "stuff" and though you said stuff her. That would've been a good way to end your idea.

masada 08-12-2006 10:46 PM

I could continue on if you want.

asdf 08-12-2006 10:53 PM

What's likely to happen is I'll just become close friends with him, and be just like "one of the guys." That seems to happen to me a lot.

Sometimes it sucks not being your average prissy girl.

masada 08-12-2006 10:55 PM

I'm one of the girls.

nutty_bar 08-12-2006 11:12 PM

You could do it like in Talladega Nights. The girl just grabbed the guy's crotch and he couldn't resist.

By the way, that movie is HILARIOUS.

PinkFreud 08-13-2006 12:38 AM

Eh, I usually develop crushes on my female friends. Not all of them but a lot of the time.

masada 08-13-2006 12:39 AM

I think I've liked ever female I've been friends with at one point or another.

Thus, I have no friends.

PECOAE 08-13-2006 01:07 AM
I think I've liked ever female I've been friends with at one point or another.

Same here.

Except I have a few male friends.

Though its true I like most of my female friends.

I am one of the girls, it sucks.

I'll never get one unless I can stop being friends with 'em!

PECOAE 08-13-2006 01:16 AM

Wow.

I'm too young and innocent for that kind of stuff.

No, really.

Zappa 08-13-2006 01:18 AM

What an adventure. I could really use that right about now. But I'm going to college soon, so that should be plenty.

PECOAE 08-13-2006 01:23 AM

Damn.

There's really nothing you can do in terms of reckless endangerment of life and limb short of going out in the middle of the night and flashing money in Manhattan.

I mean, it's hard to crash a car at 30 MPH.

And I'm too young to drive a car.

Damn NY state, in Florida I'd be able to already.

asdf 08-13-2006 02:36 AM
Yesterday I went out with a couple friends on an overnight secret road trip to Indiana. We made it almost to the border when we missed an exit and drove into a ditch, destroyed his car, and got stranded until about 4 AM until AAA showed up. First thing the guy said was "Shit! How the fuck did you guys manage this?!" It was nice knowing we were dealing with a calm, collected expert.

I'm running on an hour or so of sleep, and some macaroni and cheese which is the only thing I ate all day. wooooo
Sounds exciting. Really puts my day of sitting on my *** watching TV to shame.

I hate how all my friends who drive are so hung up on the price of gas, and have such a hissyfit when asked to drive. But then again, what am I bitching about, I choose to bike.

PECOAE 08-13-2006 02:40 AM

You know, I don't know if I want to drive anymore.

I hate that generation.

You know, the one that was able to enjoy Classic Rock, Punk, and New Wave, and then dumped all these problems in our laps.

asdf 08-13-2006 02:43 AM
price of gas kills me too, considering I haven't started my job yet. I'll be making decent money but until then I've gotta get by with like $5 at the gas station every time.

anyway, driving into a construction ditch is scary as hell. It was narrow but deep enough to where I have no idea how the car didn't get stuck.
I'm really glad I've never gotten into any sort of car crash. I've been in some scary situations with "impaired" drivers, but nothing happened.

Just yesterday me and a few friends were almost stranded because he ran out of gas, and altogether we had 5 dollars.

Price of gas really does suck, and that's why I might be investing in a moped. I'm still debating, though.

But I swear, one of my friends, who has two jobs that pay well, still bitches at everyone to give her gas money anytime she drives. We don't even try to ask her to go anywhere, because she'll start complaining. There have been a couple of times where she drives us to the location, then leaves early without warning, leaving us stranded towntown at midnight. It's really awesome.

Dog 08-13-2006 02:48 AM
here have been a couple of times where she drives us to the location, then leaves early without warning, leaving us stranded towntown at midnight
situations like this always make fun adventure stories though.
