Yes they are. Even then, the Armenian/Eastern in general influence doesn't play that great a part in their music. I think he's just made it up to make them sound more impressive, not just another nu metal band. They are nu metal though. Good nu metal, but that doesn't change anything.

Tell me what songs you have heard from them? All 3 of their albums sound different, and they were around long before Evanescence.

I also quite like them alot.
