.
Yeah the ending is sweet eh ? I had it piped through TWO surround systems.. I brought the one out of the bedroom and into in my living room and played both cd's in each system . It sounded better and more harmonious than the one surround system.. It was 2 times better . Almost no rough edges at all throughout the whole thing . Like 6 musicians playing at the same time but in harmony .. It was Sweet !

Well, I knew you guys would like that

.

Moses 05-14-2006 11:24 AM

I'm gonna try and find more syncs that go with it. I think maybe Lost Keys might go with it in the beginning.

EDIT: Eh, kinda but not really. I'm not gonna try anymore. I need to practice piano.

So I should have seen somthing like this coming. I knew there was more to this album than just what I heard.

Killtacular 05-14-2006 11:50 AM

The ending could've synched better. The heavy part was awesome, though.

Prince of Darkness 05-14-2006 11:58 AM

Moses, It's not easy to get the last part synched, but getting that in synch would be amazing.

Moses 05-14-2006 11:59 AM

I think if indeed Tool meant for this to go together, they could have done a better job too. I mean there are lots of parts that go out of key.

That would be funny if it was all a coincidence.

Prince of Darkness 05-14-2006 12:02 PM

I think we just learnt a lesson here:

Don't judge a Tool album until at least a month later. There is so much more to Tool albums than just songs, artwork and packaging.

Adam Jones is GOD 05-14-2006 12:02 PM

They may have intended it, or may have intended it to seem like it went. Or it could just be coincidence. Either way, its pretty cool to try, no matter what people say about it.

Txus 05-14-2006 12:02 PM

That's awesome moses.

Yeah we learned it, just in time for their career to end.

Prince of Darkness 05-14-2006 12:04 PM

oh moses, did you synch it with the leak version? Because the leak version has 2 seconds at the end of each track.

Moses 05-14-2006 12:06 PM

No, it's the album version. It added a second in the beginning when I imported it on Audacity.

UpperDecker 05-14-2006 12:11 PM

What's this i hear about two songs synching together? I tried Viginti Tres and 10,000 days and didn't hear anything, then tried Wings for Marie and Viginti Tres Together and still nothing. What is it?

Adam Jones is GOD 05-14-2006 12:13 PM

Viginti Tres then Wings For Marie both playing over 10k days

So in an editing program it would be

Click on the link at the top of the last page in those quotes, it has the three synched fairly well.

You play 10,000 Days synched with Viginti Tres followed by Wings for Marie.

cool thanks.

Darkness 05-14-2006 12:43 PM

My god, the last few minutes are rather epic. They lock very well together.

PaulR 05-14-2006 02:00 PM

This is very cool. Thanks Moses.

clearvision 05-14-2006 02:57 PM

This sync stuff could be amazing...I'm gonna fiddle about with it when i next get really bored. Some of vigniti tres is too high in the mix for me...and there could be some great fading in and out on WFM. The heavy part gave me the biggest shivers any song has given me.

Moses 05-14-2006 03:20 PM

Yeah, I just did that in like 5 minutes so there's alot that can be done to it.

clearvision 05-14-2006 03:23 PM

Some parts really grate on me (especially the whirring noise of WFM). And i think the synch is ever so slightly out (not trying to be a d!ck and critiscise). It'll be fun to play aroud with. I think the title track needs to be faded out a couple of times too.

The heavy part is absolutley amazing though.

denboy 05-14-2006 03:23 PM

This, unlike any of the other crackpot theories out there, actually seems completely legit

Generic Joshman 05-14-2006 03:29 PM

thats so COOL.
thanks for that.

Kage 05-14-2006 03:30 PM

I actually only heard the album about two days ago, and I absolutely love it. I think it's their best album so far. Regardless of whether it's a huge change or step-forward from Lateralus or not, it just rules.

It also is in line with my idea that they found their sound with Lateralus.

Listening to the sync-up again, and it sounds great!

Toaster 05-14-2006 03:32 PM

Did you figure out that sync-up thing, Moses?

JamJar 05-14-2006 03:33 PM

No, it was found out on some message board. Moses simply put it into practice for our use.

Moses 05-14-2006 03:36 PM

I wished they changed their sound on this album. It still is great but I wished it had a different sound than Lateralus. I mean all the albums have their own sound but this one is too similar to Lateralus.

Everything else kicks *** though.

Oh, and no I didn't find out the sync thing. I just quickly put it together for everyonelse. I don't wanna take credit for somthing I didn't discover.

Kage 05-14-2006 03:36 PM

I just love the songs, though. If Laterlaus didn't exist, I'd be blown away by this. So, judging it on its own merits as an album, I think it's incredible.

Toaster 05-14-2006 03:37 PM

I wish they had left out Jambi, I really dislike that song. Vicarious has grown on me though.

Moses 05-14-2006 03:38 PM

I like Jambi.

I like the part the first time he says "...If I". That's what I mean by Adam Jones' compositional expertise. It's like the chord changes fit perfectly.

JamJar 05-14-2006 03:38 PM

Vicarious is one of my favourites along with the title track and Tight In Two. I also dislike Jambi. I think it's the worst song on the album.
