^Hell, I'd be excited too. Is it Buddy Guy alone, or does he have a harmonica player with him?

The albums are out in the car and Im too lazy to go grab them, but I'll post the titles later. They look pretty cool, though.
I'm not sure, the show is called "An Evening with Buddy Guy", but he might have a guest or something.

I think you'll enjoy the albums. Robin Trower is a great guitar player, and he has some really awesome riffs.
Wow Malcom and Bus, you guys really had it out for that kid. Even I wasn't that mean to him.
ATM 07-12-2005 11:05 AM

MBS 07-12-2005 11:06 AM

 ya you should see him, he looked exactly like some crazy dancing, flute playing pirate.

BludgeonySteve 07-12-2005 12:30 PM

heh, I don't doubt that. He thinks he's a flamingo when he plays...

RockAndRoll 07-12-2005 12:32 PM

 it makes for a great show though.

I wonder if they'll do with you (ATM) what they did when they came here, a more acoustic smaller, quieter set at the beggining then a louder electric set.

Badmoon 07-12-2005 12:53 PM

I may be going to Farm Aid.

Kick out the jams, motherfuckers!

That song rules so much.

thickasabrick 07-12-2005 01:48 PM
^K, I I'll check out Rush and some of the bands u mentioned, thanks for help mayne
Yeah well I was actually joking for the first like four bands I mentioned. If Zeppelin is too soft for you, I don't think you'll like Simon and Garfunkel very much. Sorry I thought you'd realize it. Check out Rush for sure though!

You missed it by a long shot :p.

Who's that in your avatar? Lance Armstrong?

robo2448 07-12-2005 02:53 PM

I don't have much time to come on here anymore, since I have driver's ed and work everyday. And yes, Lance is in my avatar for now.

Edit- I just found the link to the CR sucks thread that you posted a couple pages ago.

MBS 07-12-2005 03:33 PM

Everyone say congrats to the next CR thread regular who got a name change... Rock not Roll - RNR

Everything's getting simplified!

thickasabrick 07-12-2005 03:33 PM

That Farm Aid thing is actually pretty cool. I remember seeing something about it on TV and like the site said, Willie Nelson started it. I know that Neil Young usually participates in it.

edit- Why did you change it to RNR? I suppose it doesn't really make a difference because we usually just refered to you as RNR or Rock anyways. I'm not changing my name. I haven't changed my avatar, username or usertitle since I joined. Except when I decorate my tree for Christmas.

Tangled Up in Blue! That's what it is! I've been trying to figure out where that line was from, Robo.

GUNSNROSESFREAK 07-12-2005 03:36 PM

I love the old GUNS N ROSES band the one with SLASH

SLASH RULES

Yeah we're like the only regulars not with name changes.

Well there's also Rockandroll and a few others.

What's a Slash? Is she the one with the big boobs?

edit- It's obviously because all the other members have identity problems, us Canadians know who we are.

That's right, don't you dare forget about me!

I don't really ever change anything, my name, user title, avatar.

edit- You've probably answered this before but where in canada do you live TAAB?

Broken Arrow 07-12-2005 03:45 PM

Haha, thats true.

Canadian Guy hasn't changed his name either, altough he has a couple other accounts.

RockAndRoll 07-12-2005 03:46 PM

He hasn't been around here that long though has he?

Broken Arrow 07-12-2005 03:48 PM

hmm. Say, are you going to come see plant in london Live?

thickasabrick 07-12-2005 03:49 PM

I live in Regina. Sk. Cool place.

np - Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Can you believe that Charlie Daniels played on one of Bob Dylans albums (it may be more than one, I'm not sure) but he wasn't allowed to play fiddle? I read that in Chronicles, I'm not sure why he didn't play fiddle, I guess the producer or whoever it was didn't want a fiddle on the album.

edit- and this was long before The Charlie Daniels Band.

hethamulburton 07-12-2005 03:50 PM

Didn't he play on an Allman Brothers CD.

Ya Regina's a pretty nice place, I've only been out there once, briefly though.

I did not know that.

Possibly, not sure yet.

I'll definetly look into it though.

You should. There are still lots of good seats left (I haven't even gotten mine yet). Have you heard the Mighty Rearranger?
