No offence, but it's not that it was the first weird topic to be brought up in this thread.

Besides, some of you called him a moron after his second post.
To you and Ripper: I know people who do have problems with that sort of thing, he didn't seem genuine, I can't describe it, but the vibe I got was it was for attention, not soemthing he actually dealt with. Most people who deal with those sort of things won't even bring it up (even online), and the way he was joking about it in the end made it seem even more fake to me.

Also, yes SBD would be the best album for clean vocals, I think.

That's an acceptable viewpoint. Believe me, I had no quarrel with you. :) My take on it was just my take on it, that's all.

Of course he was joking, are we not allowed to joke in this thread anymore then? :p

 Your "Truth" moniker is gone!

Well, CreepingBlack is gone forever and that thing was kind of elitist and silly to begin with. Being a relative noob I ate it up, however. ("Yeah, let's go show the forums the power of (our) intelligence! Hurrah!")

I've grown attached to mine, though, otherwise I would change it too. I came close a few times...can't go through with it. :(

I suppose if Steerpike gets rid of his, I'll accept that it's probably time to move on. :p

Kurtz 02-20-2005 12:19 PM

Remember the apology thread he made?

Yeh, new avatar, new title, you know how I go. :)
Remember the apology thread he made?
I do. I think he caught much more hell than he deserved, though: when he poked his head into R+M, he was a pretty coherent, cool guy. The Pit just utterly destroyed him. I mean come on, he makes an effort to apologize for being a douche and he still gets raped up the *** with insults? That's no way to be. He just miscalculated the atmosphere in the Pit. It was not an appropriate place for someone of his volatile temper to be hanging around. But he did, and commited e-suicide. Oh well.

Simple Man 02-20-2005 12:27 PM

I'm back for about 3 minutes.

Bartender 02-20-2005 12:27 PM

When did he leave?

EDIT: CreepingBlack I mean.

Cain 02-20-2005 12:29 PM

"Leaving" is putting it mildly. :p He begged the mods in the Pit to IP ban him as a statement against everybody that were assholes to him, and DBJ, who hated him too, was only too happy to oblige. This happened near the end of December or the beginning of January.

Well, off to brunch. See you later.

Bartender 02-20-2005 12:31 PM

Oh. I vaguely remember a couple of the threads he made in the Pit..seems I missed out on plenty of drama though.

Simple Man 02-20-2005 12:31 PM

:0 I remember when Bar wasn't here for a long time.

That was a tragidy.

That must be why I missed it, that was over my mx vacation :(

I think I'm off to eat some food too.

DonMancini 02-20-2005 12:34 PM

Why just some of the albums you own? And why not just use the usual albums I own feature?

Out of curiosity, why does this thread have the name it has? Because this thread doesn't seem to have anything to do with the title...
Why just some of the albums you own? And why not just use the usual albums I own feature?
Some because honestly I couldn't remember more ( :upset: cause they're in the car) and because lots of the classical ones aren't there :(

And I didn't use the feature cause I'm relatively new to the site and didn't find out it existed until I had compiled a lot of the list :upset: I'll go fix things up..

Bartender changed the title because he was bored, then changed it to this following a request for a HHG reference.

Now i could be smart and just stop talking now, or i could ask what HHG is.
But thanks.

Bartender 02-20-2005 12:40 PM

HHG - The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. You'll probably understand lots of references to things between a few of us if you read and know those books. And now you know where your towel is.
