There are probably better ways (like using surround sound, etc.) but I just lined up VT and Wings For Marie in a playlist in one media player and 10,000 Days in the other and started it at the same time.

I want to try that, but I'm stuck using these gay speakers that don't get sound in the left channel. :angry:

I found this out about the 3 tracks synching on the website 10000-Days.com .. In a thread there people are trying to solve the puzzle in the album with the stereoscopic lenses.. I dont know if it has been mentioned here as I am new and haven't read the whole thread here.. But, apparently tool said there is a puzzle in there for people to try to solve. Apparently its difficult.. Anyway, there's a 70 page thread there about it.. Here is the link to that thread :)

By the way, on page 54 of that thread is the discovery of the synching of the three tracks.. As you can see I am not joking, alot of people are in agreement there that it synchs and flows as a song. You have to make sure to set the bars and also the volume just right for wings for marie. But it works and its cool sounding. With a surround system it's surreal and incredible.. Total toolgasms !

I'm doing it right now and it sounds pretty cool so far. I wondered why Viginti Tres was so gay.

Viginti Tres + 10 000 Days > Wings for Marie + 10 000 Days.

Eh, I like Vigniti Tres as a standalone track.

But the sync-up really is awesome.

Your mind will be blown away at 9:14 when it gets heavy .. Notice, 9 + 14 = 23 = Viginti Tres :) . This band is sick and does everything for a reason .

That's why they have 3 faces on the album cover . It equals the synching of the three tracks - Viginti tres + Wings for Marie played with 10000 days .. 23 is the number of synchronicity . And nothing is more synchronous than the synch at 5:02 when Wings for Marie starts and flows with the rest of 10,000 Days. These 4 guys are freaks .. First time this has ever been done in music history

But I think it's amazing how Tool figure things like this out. I respect the album a lot more now.

I put Tool's tracks in Adobe Audition before and noticed they shared similar properties to Lateralus tracks (and we all know what happened with that one), but I never stumbled across doing this. Ill give it a try now

Yes, even with Maynard singing it lines up .. You need a surround system. Luckily I have two systems :) .. With headphones things got sketchy here and there. But my god ! My God ! With surround system it is mint. I put 10000 days in the rear and viginti tres + Wings for Marie in the front.

. With surround , You can even hear the wisps in Maynards voice for Wings for Marie flow with 10,000 days while they are playing together like harmony.. Like harmonious ! It's like he is having a back and forth conversation, it flows so nice.. Like listening to Floyd on acid ! LOL

When it gets heavy right at 9:14 the instruments line up RRRReally nice :)

Hmm I still haven't managed to get them to match perfectly.

I didnt have much trouble, just made sure the patterns lined up (thankfully it has an auto-lineup type of feature, so was quite easy). But even with it lined up, some parts sound really out of place. But the parts that do synch are pretty cool I admit.

I'd have to agree with Prince of Darkness though, Viginti Tres sounds better with 10,000 Days than Wings for Marie.
