No, it never came up in school reading lists. That's probably why I've never heard of it...:lol:

The only books I've really actively pursued outside of school reading are sci-fi novels. Which is kinda odd, cause I'm a pretty avid reader. My mom's friend used to be a librarian, so I usually get a ton of books around Christmas and my birthday.

My schools have never had 'reading lists'.

1984 is kind of like a sci-fi novel in certain ways.

You should also read some Philip K. Dick because he is the best science fiction writer eevever!
