oh god damn it, they're doing that "all the **** peels away around you and turns everything into rusted metal" schtick again.

Gameplay in Silent Hill has always been pretty bad, hope they fix it.

The first 3 were great.

The last one I played wasn't that great. They focused too much on combat and provided you with too much ammo. Part of the fun with Silent Hill is that you need to conserve your ammo and mostly use your melee weapons for whatever ****ed up thing comes after you.
