What's some ridiculous overwhelming and heavy dubstep?

Tyler 10-25-2010 02:48 PM

The only "classical" I ever really listen to anymore is Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2

Rusko
Downlink
Excision
Diesel

this wobbly, heavy dubstep is the shittiest type of dubstep imo. there are tons of them and few of them are good.

Angmar 10-25-2010 03:27 PM

Thanks for the recs guys, I'll get to work on it tonight.

I already have The Planets and yeah it's good stuff.
Hey guys. Know any good post-rock or post-rock influenced bands with a vocalist? (i.e. Moving Mountains, Dredg.) Love the music that groups like Red Sparowes, Pelican, 65daysofstatic, Russian Circles, etc. make, but looking for some vocals as well. I've looked everywhere! Thanks guys.
Manowar's best are probably Battle Hymns or Kings of Metal.

As far as that classic sound, there's a new Darkriders album out (Nucleus) that fits the bill. Otherwise, look into some Manilla Road (Crystal Logic), Judas Priest (Sad Wings of Destiny), Metal Church (Metal Church), Danzig (Lucifuge), Sir Lord Baltimore (Kingdom Come). I guess?

limonade 11-01-2010 01:12 PM

raven - all for one
Velvet Cacoon - Atropine
Procer Veneficus - Deathwanderings
Whoo, thanks. Wasn't actually expecting an answer to this anymore. I'll check those out soon. :)

And @ Haz: my favourite Manowar album is probably either Kings of Metal or Warriors of the World. And idk, first place to look would be Judas Priest's Painkiller, I think. And I think you would like Iced Earth's first three albums.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-01-2010 07:09 PM

i fucking love manowar

Meatplow 11-01-2010 07:21 PM
