I saw SMP live back in September supporting the Offspring, and I can't say that I enjoyed them at all...
I thought the music was bad, and the image was pretty laughable.

I agree. They look like they were taken straight out of a b-movie horror flick. They played in Lincoln a while back I think, and they had a zombie night at the bar and everyone came dressed as zombies.
Look who you're talking to.

Yeah, when I saw them the singer said after the first song:

"Hello Manchester... I am sorry but the Offspring couldn't make it tonight, I got a bit peckish before the show" (In a weird voice).
And then he gets out a mannequin head with spikey blond hair, and starts pretending to eat it...
I was just stood there like this :

EDIT : Spence, that is true. You are like the king of zombies.

THAT'S THE COOLEST THING EVER.

My friend is one of the most elitist music lovers I know. He doesn't like genres, he just likes certain bands, but he completely despises any he doesn't like. It's amazing. Anyway, he is a big Offspring fan and bought a ticket to that show, and when he heard SMP were supporting he nearly threw a shitfit. There are times when he can be annoying, but that was pretty funny.

Kif 03-28-2006 12:15 PM

I've noticed the names of a lot of programs on Macs are really thoughtful. iMovie HD, iDVD, iPhoto, iDrum, iTunes. I wish I had that creativity

Gnarmageddon 03-28-2006 12:18 PM

You do all of those things, Kif?

I never knew DVD was a verb. :p

Kif 03-28-2006 12:21 PM

I'm so excited for the next couple of days. Today I get to kick the **** out ot Riverhood in LAX. Tomorrow I'm chillin' with this fly bitch. Thursday I'm jsut chillen'. Finally, on the Friday, I'm again chillen' with the fly bitch but I also get to see my friend Liz who I haven't seen in two months.

Kif 03-28-2006 12:26 PM

I don't understand how Canada can be the new Britain. Don't they have class and order there, with little violence?

We like peace and have a better music scene.

Kif 03-28-2006 12:36 PM

Britain is a drunken pile of whores and crackheads, hellbent on introducing fists to each other and knows only 2 words when it's 2 in the morning; Chips and beer.

Stereotyping is so much fun!

Except Jamie.
Do not question my choice of the QOTpasttwoDs.
I didn't, I just couldn't be bothered to find that post to quote it myself.

One day I'm gonna get a QOTD, and then I will have fulfilled my prophecy. I've spelt that wrong haven't I?

ColdFire 03-28-2006 12:45 PM

You've probably gotten one before. You should look through all of the Open/Discussion threads from these years.

Goodbye.

Kif 03-28-2006 01:23 PM

So does anyone know a program for Mac which is similar to Paint? I need something simple for my media coursework. We have to design a magazine cover and I think it's funny because all the kids in my class are using things like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, and I just used Word and Paint and mine looks better.

Gnarmageddon 03-28-2006 01:53 PM

iPaint.

Kif 03-28-2006 02:01 PM
iPaint.
You should work for Apple with a mind like that.

B 03-28-2006 02:04 PM

lmao

macs don't have any basic paint program?

lame.

Everyone, check out my idea in the "Tell The Mods" thread, and offer some feedback. I want to get some users opinions before I set the plan in action.

Thanks. :)
QOTpasttwoDs
What?

EDIT: Does that mean 'quote of the past two days'?

Hi people.

Mute Print 03-28-2006 02:58 PM

Quote of the past two days.

I saw that, and that sounds like a good idea, but may get confusing for the some.
