That article was really interesting, though I think the truth of it may be stretched a bit. It's good that Dave took the initiative to clear things up, but it seemed like he was bitching a lot of the time, especially about people not appologizing to him. He was putting himself above everyone else.

Through it all, TSHF was a great CD, and I just avoid Risk and that other crap. Good to know that it wasn't truly a 'Deth record.

Well, considering that he really was ****ed up [I]all the friggin time[/I], and he was ruiing it for everybody else, its no wonder he got kicked out. Hell, if I was in a band that had a chance of making it big, and one guy was always getting violent and never showing up for rehersals, I'd kick him out without thinking twice.

Yeah.....what are you basing this off? Because people who have you know, SEEN Metallica say differently. I went last November to a show and he was incredible. Time has only helped him.

While I haven't wasted $55 on a Tallica concert, I've watched a fair amount of their recent live shi[b][i][/b][/i]t on the internet, and I know at least a dozen people who agree.

Well, judging from the fact you haven't gone to a Metallica concert, call it wasting money and have only seen (probably) bad quality stuff on the internet, why should your opinion matter?

I think the live footage I've seen is great, but meh, it's not the kind of voice everyone can like anyways. I'm starting to like Dave's a lot better.

^^^ Tr00. I never did notice when I was at the concert last summer, but when I d/loaded (Oh Noes, now Lars ll come and get me :D) some of the songs off the bootleg from the same show, I could clearly hear how bad he was actually singing.

I call it wasting money because its ludicrous to pay $55+ to see a sell-out band with a washed-up singer, overrated guitarist, bitchy untalented drummer, and overlooked bassist when I saw Megadeth for $35.

And there are some good quality Tallica videos out there, its pretty easy to find em.
