I have a lot of friends I guess, but only some of them are what I would call close, like not really the kind of people I would invite to hang out in a small group but would have over for a party or something.

Then there's my old friends from my home town who I see a lot of in the summer time and really trust these days.

anyway once it blew my mind to find out that some people get rather bored and unhappy being alone and not around other people

another simple concept: people get bored when doing certain activites for too long

when I get bored of sitting in my room I just see what my brother is doing and socialize with him, all I have to do is walk up stairs

no effort involved, don't have to get dressed and drive 20 miles or w/e to socialize, don't have to spend money or anything
