i find that when scallies giving me trouble, pretending to be extremely naive and playing dumb when they know i'm clever, combined with ignoring them whenever possible, means none of them ever give me any trouble.

I live in the countryside, I only get fake chavs around here.

I only handed anything over when one of them showed me knife.

I didn't lose that much really: I hardly ever used my mobile and only had about £2 of credit on it anyway, and only 20p in my wallet. Annoying part of it is that there were my keys attached to it and my EHIC card which has my address, so we had to change the locks here. Also some stuff of purely sentimental value: a pendant from my first girlfriend, a photo of me with her, and photo of me with my current girlfriend, lots of old train tickets (I keep them for some reason) and newspaper clippings I thought were funny.
