Neither.

Don't fall in the trap that you have to buy something because You have money.

If it's not broken don't fix it.

Unless your high hat stand or boom stands are tilting and leaning and dying and crying to be replaced.

Janeway 04-30-2006 04:57 PM

That's a cracked philosophy.
Consider the economy.
If you save all that money and the economy crashes, what good is it?
Spend it now so you have stuff to do then.

Oh.

Well.

Okay.

Drum Phil 04-30-2006 05:13 PM

I will get boom arms for my splashes eventually. Simply cause they offer better setup options than my grabber arms.

I just found the most embarrasing picture of me. I was around 5 or 6 sitting naked in a tub that didn't have any water.

Not a bath tub, A big metal tub in our front yard at the time.

Drum Phil 04-30-2006 05:25 PM

I thought in america that was the same thing? :p

haha sorry, i couldnt resist.

samsamthegiantman 04-30-2006 05:44 PM

Milkmit, I might have some stuff you'd be interested in.

Do you have Night On The Sun (Japanese EP)?

DuckinFutch8 04-30-2006 05:58 PM

is that a modest mouse EP? I would love to have it if it is.

Goldendutchtaco@gmail.com

Win A Rabbit 04-30-2006 06:15 PM

god i'm bored. i spent a good 45 minutes today sanding out a piece of wood to mount a mousepad on. sanded it to perfection, just because i had nothing else to. i thought about painting it, too, but decided i'd rather keep it natural.

i measured out the mousepad, cut it in half (mounting the two halfs side by side, one upside down), then cut off the ends that didn't fit on the board. i'm then going to mount the excess on the bottom of the board for grip and so that it doesn't rattle around when i place it on a surface and play.

that was my project today.

yay cheap practice pads.

White 04-30-2006 06:16 PM

pfffttt, when I get time I will show you guys the ultimat practice pad that I made haha
