He's definitely got a bit of a Springsteen thing going on. That's partly why they're a great band.

good picks

Even though it was available for free, the new Nine Inch Nails album is pretty good. It's a lot like the past few records but maybe a little dirtier sounding.

The latest Bad Brains CD is pretty good too. A lot of people complain about HR not getting nuts like he used to be, but I still thought it was a decent record.

I always wonder if Minor Threat will ever do anything again. I used to like Public Enemy's first few releases. Then they simply lost it on the recent batch of records. I wasn't too crazy about what they were putting out.
In the last few days I've been listening to these bands a lot:

Streetlight Manifesto
Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution
Naked City
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
B.A.S.S.
Public Enemy
Queens of the Stone Age
Bobby McFerrin
Nine Inch Nails
**** Sparrer
Sleepytime Gorilla Museum
Bad Brains
Miles Davis
Stanley Clarke
Squarepusher
Violent Femmes
Minor Threat
Crowded House
