an octaver pedal is essential to any guitar player

i can't comment on interfaces. i'm actually going to start fucksin around with one in not too long, since microsoft was kind enough to send me this free laptop i might as well use it for something.

but i don't like pedals. just find a good head and there's really no need for them unless you're trying to make post rock or sumthin crazy.

idk dude if you're strapped for cash you could get something cheap like a line 6 and get a perfectly fine basic metal tone straight out of the box, as well as your basic effects (tremolo, phaser, flanger)

there's no practical application for phaser

compared to good amps yeah but they're not terrible. one of my first heads was a spyder 2 way back when and it had a like i said decent basic metal tone, i didn't need to use pedals or anything. i actually had the digitech death metal pedal and i sold it after i got that head.

i tested out of english 101 AND 102. I took AP English in high school and we took the AP test at the end of the year. The test is graded from 1 to 5. There was a test for 101 and 102. If you get a 3 on one of the tests you get exempt from that course in most universities. If you get a 4 it's excepted in even more universities. If you get a 5 on one test you are exempt from both classes no matter what you get on the second test. (you could get a 5 on the english 101 and a 1 on english 102 and be exempt from both.) I got a 5 on both of them and I was stoned when I took the test.
