wow!

the pit has gone!

OK, that's the story about me and Britt. Me and Liz:

We met randomly and became friends, immediately had a thing for each other. We started "talking" (you know that whole phase) and we would talk on the phone every night for like 2 weeks.

So one day, we all hung out and my then best friend Conor (same kid in Florida) met her. He got her number, despite the fact he KNEW what was going on. I talked to Liz the next day, asking if she wanted to chill, but she said she was going to Conor's. I was like, "Oh, is he having people over?" She said, "...Actually, no...it's just me."

A week later, Liz and Conor were dating. Awesome. :(

So they date, break up, and me and Liz still talk and are wicked close but we can't go out because she dated my best friend. That's tabu.

So we're best friends, yaddah yaddah, the Brittany thing goes down, and Liz was there for me. Liz liked me a lot but I loved Brittany so she tried as hard as she could to understand and be my friend. I would always talk to Liz about Brittany, because I honestly had no idea Liz liked me and I didn't know it was killing her to hear me say all this stuff about Britt, like how I wanted to hold her hand and cuddle with her and stuff.

Every time Britt and I hit a wall and she wouldn't talk to me, Liz was there for me. She'd go out for ice cream with me or have me over to just talk.

Finally, around prom time, Liz really really really wanted me to ask her but I never did (I'm KICKING myself over it now). I honestly had no idea she wanted me to ask her, but she kept saying stuff like, "So, Gavin, who are you taking to prom?" I never picked up on it.

When she found out I was taking Brittany, I guess she was heart broken and bawled her eyes out. I feel terrible about it. :(

So yeah, you read the Britt story and how Liz was there for me for that...moving on.

So yeah, Britt leaves and Gav's in a severe state of depression for months on end. Liz was there for me, talking with me, helping me get through it. Honestly, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be alive today. :(

So yeah, finally, months and months later, I realize I care about Liz more than anything in the world. I'm JUST about to tell her when:

...Liz gets a boyfriend named Adam.

They've been going out since (I think since October of 2005) and Liz and he are "in love." I don't really like him. He honestly has no personality at all. I'm insanely jealous, yeah, but hey, if that's what she wants, who am I to deny her that? I'm still her best friend and we've "talked" about "us" multiple times. We like each other a LOT but we agree it doesn't make sense to date now, seeing as we're going to different colleges in different states.

So yeah...Liz and I are best friends who are in love with each other but just can't date right now.

Timing was never my thing.

I saw RX Banits 2 weeks ago, and now I'm trying to get them booked at my school for the first weekend back on campus.

It's been awhile. I barely ever post while at school and for the summer I was just hanging in the Pit during work. I'm at work now actually.

Rissa! What's up? How's your summer going?

Schools good, halfway done and only 2 years away from entering the real world. I got the position of Program Director at my school's radio station. I'm actually working here as the PD and as Summer Manager since I'm the only member of Central Staff working here over the summer. They gave me housing on campus so I live in an apartment with 3 other guys who do broadcasting for a local baseball team. Weekends I go home and see the friends and my girl.

Be right back guys, I need a quick breakfast (At 2:05 :rolleyes:) and I need to get cleaned up.

I'm leaving at 2:30.

I'm doing okay.
I've been slacking most of the summer but I finally got a job so that I can you know... actually go to college next fall. My car is dead, so I have to walk to tennis practice in the morning. But my twin brother is outside right now attempting to fix it.
