Everytime I hit the apostrophe key, it brings up the "quick find" thing, instead of typing an apostrophe. How do I fix this?

close firefox and re-open it, i get that, among many other errors on this site, and this site only.

sometimes if i try to type é it brings me to the site without any skins and brings up my bookmarks simultaneously.
