Squirrel 03-27-2006 01:52 PM

Hey.

SimonCore 03-27-2006 01:57 PM

When was the last time they played in USA?

Rattlehead 03-27-2006 02:03 PM
You dont get out much, do you.
the fact that i am not familiar with every single computer abbreviation implies that i DO get out much. think about what you say, dimwit.

Joe 03-27-2006 02:23 PM
When was the last time they played in USA?
November, that is if you consider San Fransisco the USA. They finished off the USA tour end of Nov '04

Mechanix72 03-27-2006 03:56 PM
I have to say, if you ignore how much better the previous albums are, St. Anger is actually a great album. i really like it.
Especially with that great distortion I was talking about. Mmmm.

Jev 03-27-2006 03:57 PM
November, that is if you consider San Fransisco the USA. They finished off the USA tour end of Nov '04
And they finished their tour of the UK back in Dec '03. we should get priority.

GenuineImitation 03-27-2006 04:04 PM

I cant wait for the new album to be released. That will finally give me a chance to see them.

We all do Dammit.

PepsiMetal 03-27-2006 04:47 PM

I have never seen metallica live, but I've only been a fan for like 2 years or so. I will definetely seen them the first time they come to St. Louis. I looked at their tour history and they came here quite a bit so they will definetely come with the release of new album. Oh yeah!

Mechanix72 03-27-2006 04:50 PM

Why are the even touring in Africa? It's pointless.

Maybe they have fans there.

GenuineImitation 03-27-2006 05:02 PM
Why are the even touring in Africa? It's pointless.
Because people all over the world are willing to buy tickets to a Metallica concert. Not all of Africa is cut off from the world. Places like Egypt and South Africa come to mind.

Africa isn't all starving poor people ya know.

I'm quoting james here, but it's because that's where all the wild animals are. :smoke:

Yea, they have fans everywhere. If they performed on antartica, those big foots would probably be head banging to metallica. Who knows?

They played with the Rolling stones...if that counts

I only thought they were touring South Africa, not the whole of Africa.

Britton 03-28-2006 12:55 AM
I only thought they were touring South Africa, not the whole of Africa.
I thought they were only doing a couple shows

Jev 03-28-2006 01:02 AM

Yeah same here.
I wouldn't really call that a tour of Africa.

Rattlehead 03-28-2006 03:30 AM

Africa would take a year to tour, they'd die, lol.

Kirk's Puppet 03-28-2006 06:09 AM

When did Metallica last tour Australia?

Will they come back again?

Sph 03-28-2006 06:11 AM

They should be. Don't know when though.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-28-2006 06:13 AM

They were here is 2003. I guess they will come back some time after the new album.

SimonCore 03-28-2006 09:25 AM

I'd imagine they'll do USA and perhaps Austrailia after they finish the rest of the festivals they're doing ie DOWNLOAD.

Jev 03-28-2006 09:37 AM

I don't like it how they called playing at Download their tour of England. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Rattlehead 03-28-2006 01:14 PM

yeah, when was the last time they did a proper tour of England?

SimonCore 03-28-2006 01:17 PM

^Ages ago. Like way before St.Anger methinks. And one show isn't a tour it's so annoying.

Rattlehead 03-28-2006 01:33 PM

they wont forget their delay with us, they'll give an amazing tour soonish.

hetfieldfan86 03-28-2006 01:59 PM

Yeah....that has to suck. I'm from Michigan...and I'm just waitin on the new album and for the new tour...Cause 'tallica always gets detroit! Detroit Rock City!!!!!

Lord Sabbath 03-28-2006 02:42 PM

Lucky bastard. im from england too, and i crave a live 'tallica gig...:(

Shred Danson 03-28-2006 02:53 PM
Africa would take a year to tour, they'd die, lol.
Yeah, but they could do it, they're fuckin' Metallica!

Joe 03-28-2006 03:19 PM
Yeah, but they could do it, they're fuckin' Metallica!
I'd rather them spend a 364 days recording an awesome album and 1 day putting on a show in my backyard.

Josh 03-28-2006 03:26 PM
yeah, when was the last time they did a proper tour of England?
i think it was '96 or so. they played quite a few places (inc. Newcastle :) ) so hopefully they'll do a full UK tour after the release of the new album.

Shred Danson 03-28-2006 03:40 PM

Point well taken.

Aw3someman 03-28-2006 05:43 PM

hmm... They ALWAYS go to Tampa and Orlando in Florida so i'm safe either way. Seeing as i live in tampa and Orlando is 1.5 hrs. away. Hell i could see them twice. But i do hope they give the U.S. a tour before going off to Europe. I mean they are from the U.S. Hopefully they'll spend a year after the album touring the states b4 moving on. I bet they will so i'll be sure to tell you guys how they were live b4 u see them.
