Whats going on everyone? I just had an argument with this person because they kept saying metal was "just three chords and screaming", then they claimed they said "Three riffs", then it was "Just their opinion"...well how can that be an opinion?

hey TTTSNB, in response to that post about a ride with alot of wash, the 20" a custom projection crash will work wonders, except for the whole projection thing, it isnt too loud as a ride.

argh lol ,I ahte those ppl, I take it this person probably listens to Pop punk. cause thats what most ppl who say that listen to. usually the SRV ppl and Led Zepplin understand metal. Its the Pop stars that dont lol.

RushHourSoul 02-13-2006 08:07 AM

Nah, classic rock like the Beatles apparently (So...I like the Beatles) Now they're claiming its just opinion of theirs...how can that be an opinion, its just wrong.

Hmm , that sounds cool, I like the big A Custom Crashes too, I've just been really digging a ride that fills out the music a little more for certain stuff I've been playing with the school band lately. It just sounds...so awesomely chaotic sometimes.

RushHourSoul 02-13-2006 10:43 AM

What a handsome man

RushHourSoul 02-13-2006 01:59 PM

Just been attempting to sing/play So Real by Jeff Buckley on guitar. So hard to sing.

Janeway 02-13-2006 02:38 PM

Yay!
Oh my gosh!
I'm going to get some reeds!
:D
I'm going to step up a 1/2 size into 4's. Vandoren ZZ. Hoorah.
I'm thinking about getting a new mouthpiece, too.
Something to open up and lighten my sound in jazz. Grah.
I wish you all cared.

My bass drum has cobwebs in it.

LoneStarDrummer 02-13-2006 03:07 PM

when's the last time your bass drum saw any use?

Janeway 02-13-2006 03:09 PM

Last week is the last time I actually practiced.
Sometimes I take breaks from sax and play around on my kit for 10 minutes.
God....I really like saxophone all of a sudden.

I am listening to christian music. Hoorah.

LoneStarDrummer 02-13-2006 03:14 PM

never much cared for christian music. the instrumentation is too generic imo.

Janeway 02-13-2006 03:16 PM

Yeah it is.
But they look like they're having so much fun. And they have a really cool symbol.
Everybody has a cool symbol except for the gays.
God dammit.

LoneStarDrummer 02-13-2006 03:19 PM

haha.

they look like they're having fun because the record label will drop them other wise. they can't very well market Christianity if it looks dull.

everything boils down to marketing now a days
