I like sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band reprise as far as underrated Beatles songs. Good Morning Good Morning is one too, I like to listen to that and A Day in the Life as I walk to school.

i think that ones pretty close between joe and the beatles. but joe blows them out of the water with his version of "she came in through the bathroom window" next to his the beatles version blows.

RockAndRoll 03-18-2005 06:15 PM

CSNY blow the beatles out of the water on blackbird, you just can't compare to their harmonizing.

B0nz0 03-18-2005 06:24 PM

i haven't heard that version

B0nz0 03-18-2005 06:44 PM

Jacaranda 03-18-2005 06:52 PM

Does Dark Star have lyrics? I always forget.

As for pompatus (my prefered spelling) I think Steve was just really stoned when he wrote that song. Steve Miller kicks ass, so it doesn't matter.

Broken Arrow 03-18-2005 08:20 PM

Dqark Star does have lyrics.

jpj 03-18-2005 08:23 PM
Dqark Star does have lyrics.
Ok. I always listen to it on Live Dead and it seems like I always have to leave, so I never finish it.

Woodstock 03-18-2005 08:26 PM

It's pompitous. And yes, since Steve Miller kick so much ass, they are allowed to make up their own word.

Yea, that spelling seems right. I like saying pompitous.....it's fun.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 03-18-2005 08:34 PM

"Dark Star" would count even if it has some lyrics.

Broken Arrow 03-18-2005 08:48 PM

Well not many fit the description of "Long Instrumental Psychedelic Jams" Im not going to be picky. Dark Star is close enough.
