One in Arlington (by my gf's place), and one right by my house in Wheaton.

Jacaranda 01-09-2007 08:20 PM

Rabbi 01-09-2007 08:22 PM

fahita>barito
unless you really like diahreah(sp?)
and i have an extremly low metabolism.

edit: three people posted at the same time

perriwinkle 01-09-2007 08:29 PM

you are pretty bad at spelling

bleep_bloop 01-09-2007 08:31 PM
that depends on where you go

the chipotle in vienna is godly

but when i was in las vegas i saw a chipotle and decided to stop for a burrito

bad idea.

that shiz was naaasty so you just gotta hope your town's got good mexicans.

and if you get tired of eating the same burrito then get a different one

try a different salsa. try a different meat. put guacamole on. different beans.

2 x 4 = 8 combinations of beans and meat

use tabasco. poop in it first. use your imagination
i dunno i guess im just spoiled; here we have so many mexican food places a place wont survive if its got **** food plus being close to the border is probably beneficial.
you are pretty bad at spelling
lol word

Electronic Wolf 01-09-2007 08:48 PM

Fahita in Spanish would sound like fa-ee-ta. You need the J, dude.

perriwinkle 01-09-2007 08:48 PM

true true true

i am counting down the minutes until 12:35 AM ET.

CONAN O BRIEN BABY

Rabbi 01-09-2007 09:39 PM

I love Conan. And forgive me for mispelling fajita and diarrhea, two of the weirdest words in the english language.

Haha, some people surveyed immagrants who didn't speak english and asked them to pick out the word they thought was prettiest in the dictionary, and the number one awnser was diarrhea.

bleep_bloop 01-09-2007 09:51 PM

haha no. fajita isnt an english word stupid.

Glitterati 01-09-2007 09:55 PM

They must have all planned it beforehand.

Though it's amazing they can read anything with those slanty eyes.

bleep_bloop 01-09-2007 09:55 PM

there's like 500,000 words that would take forever.

perriwinkle 01-09-2007 09:57 PM

yeah i call bs or a severe lack of context because that is a ridiculous experiment. look through this entire dictionary, and tell me what you think the prettiest word is. get back to me next year. no fuck no.

and you got 'extremely' wrong too

Zmev 01-09-2007 10:14 PM

I go to Baja Fresh for my bean and cheese burritoige.

Burritoige is a word. Deal with it.

perriwinkle 01-09-2007 10:15 PM

wouldnt it be spelled Burritoage though

Zmev 01-09-2007 10:28 PM

No. No it would not.

Glitterati 01-09-2007 10:35 PM

Unless we were discussing the age of the burrito.

bleep_bloop 01-09-2007 10:39 PM

i was born in the year of the burrito

Electronic Wolf 01-09-2007 10:46 PM

Baja Fresh isn't real Mexican food. It's also expensive as hell.

Robert Crumb 01-09-2007 11:44 PM

Homemade tamales > all other Mexican food

AndreTheHyena 01-09-2007 11:59 PM

There's a local place that makes these tacos de asada with green sauce that are absolutely amazing. They use really high-quality beef, and it's the only time I ever actually spend money on meat in local restaurants. Unless I'm drunk.

Robert Crumb 01-10-2007 12:00 AM

In the summer, there's this neighborhood lady who cooks tamales and sells them out of her porch. I think that's illegal, but damn. Good stuff. Her husband also walks around near the high school with a big stick that's got spools of cotton candy hanging off it. I think if these people weren't Mexicans, other people would be a lot more wary.

ATM 01-10-2007 12:05 AM

Homemade tamales sound delicious.

AndreTheHyena 01-10-2007 12:08 AM

I'm going to Mexico next month, to a border town that's actually authentic, and like you see in the movies. Corn tortilla stands, livestock in the streets, cantinas made of sheet metal with ice-cold beer, kids and flies everywhere. I'm really stoked.

YDload 01-10-2007 12:21 AM

why would border towns be authentic? you gotta go farther into the country, where gringoes are given suspicious looks and then strafed around to be pickpocketed

PS i ate a burrito from Qdoba today. it was delicious, as usual :D

AndreTheHyena 01-10-2007 12:25 AM

I meant it's an authentic border town, where my American dollars will be good for ice-cold beer and fresh tamales, without fear of getting dragged into the desert and gutted.

qdoba is just fake chipotle

i had a burrito there once and the manager recommended their queso sauce

so i let him put it in my burrito. terrible. do not put that crap in your burrito

AndreTheHyena 01-10-2007 12:30 AM

I hate when places refer to cheese as queso. That really pisses me off. It makes the cheese no more exotic.

i didnt do that. i only get rice, chicken, and fajita veggies in my burrito (i want black beans too but that would be extra). i love how fresh all the ingredients are. crisp vegetables from a fast food place!

Robert Crumb 01-10-2007 12:37 AM

I have chorizo in my fridge. I'm looking forward to breakfast.

This is the kind of thing that makes me happy to be alive.

someone tell me this song isn't awesome.

I just woke up to The Eraser on my CD alarm clock, i'm never doing that again. Man that CD is evil, it felt like the world was ending. It was seriously a really uncomfortable way to wake up.

Zmev 01-10-2007 04:13 AM

No matter how cheesy and lame and bad Kansas are, Carry On My Wayward Son is awesome.

haha I dont blame you.

Iai 01-10-2007 09:18 AM

"Carry On My Wayward Son" is Kansas? I thought "Dust In The Wind" was the only thing they did.

The pop-punk vox midway through ruin it a bit, but it's pretty cool.

Glitterati 01-10-2007 10:27 AM

One time I woke up to Born In The U.S.A.

That was just gay.

yea...agreed...you'd think I'd feel lame for it, but playing it on guitar hero rules...and it's just a great song.

Eliminator 01-10-2007 10:33 AM

That song is annoying.
