Ah. :( Well, at least you are still going to do it in December. Hit up the forums when you get some new material. :thumb: |
READ UP CB!
Poison the Well/Halloween highlights: Work (Just because): - some Asian lady coming to be ringed up and exclaiming "Oh! I thought you were a lady." - Lady arguing with my friend that something was $1.99. It was $6.61, she was reading it upside down and ignoring the decimal point. - Me pwning some lady that tried to put a $1.25 price tag from a cheaper item onto an item that was part of a set. Idiot took it out of the set and slapped the tag on there. It amazes me how people think I can just scan a price. I need a barcode. Poison the Well: - I dressed up as a Mexican wrestler, and named myself El Malo. I had tights on, which resulted in me getting hit on and hooted at. Amazing, I don't think I've ever been hit on in my life before. I'm going to do this on a regular basis. - Moshing it up as El Malo - Sadly, curlupanddie sucked - PTW were awesome. WAY better than February. They made the set list a whole lot stronger, not just with song choices but with order. It was perfect. - New guitarist rules. They played an intro, which I think they may have written with him. I don't know if this is any indicator of what the new album will sound like, but said intro was very southern classic rock inspired (think Lynrd Skynrd)... weird, I know. It was really good though, even though it was just instrumental. - Putting aside my grudges and uniting with scenesters to drive away the jock pit - Starting to preach to a nearly 7 ft. tall guy I thought was push pitting, only for him to go "Hey bro, I know what kind of a show it is" and show me his Security shirt. I apologized and gave him a big fat hug. After work: - I stopped to get gas after I dropped my friend off, which is in a weird area. Some Mexican guy in a cowboy hat dealy comes up to me and starts gibbering in Spanish, even after I say "Uh... No espanol. Sorry". He kept saying "Fontana" and "Pomona", which are cities around here, so I think he wanted a ride. I told him no for the obvious reasons, and he told me "Ey, you help me, I help you". I was wearing my tights at the time. I do not want to know what he meant by that.
Awesome. I still miss Derek but this new guy sounds good. Could he play the old material well also? |
I dont even know what Noisecore is
noisecore is stupid and shouldn't be a genre. most of the bands fit into some other category. |
noisecore is stupid and shouldn't be a genre. most of the bands fit into some other category.
noisecore is like grindcore but, as the name suggests more noisey and crazy eg converge |
Converge is Metalcore with other various influences. There is no need for the genre or noisecore. Noise I understand, but no not noisecore.

i was trying to explain so he could undestand :amaze: and converge are good no matter what genre the fit into |
i know what it is, i'm just saying it's useless.

Haha, that rules.
|

|
Hahaha.
|
Awesome. I still miss Derek but this new guy sounds good. Could he play the old material well also?
Oh yeah, he had a mean guitar tone, and he was all over the place. |
I just got my Miles Between Us album in the mail today, it's really good.
www.thinkfastrecords.com Check out the song they've got there. |
Sweet. Sounds like you had a good halloween.
|
Oh yeah, he had a mean guitar tone, and he was all over the place.
Sweet man. I can't wait for the new album. I don't know how they're recorded/recording it with all this touring. They just finished up a European Tour with D.E.P. |
For some reason the word "material" is infinitely too professional for the likes of us :(
Haha, aww. Come on now, don't be that way. |

Pomona, CA @ The Glass House with: A Static Lullaby, Codeseven, Rock Kills Kid, Auditory Aphasia That might be cool, Buddy. Codeseven and Hopesfall. Don't know about the others. Hopesfall is playing in Philly with Marigold. I'd like to go. I looked up their bio on Trustkill's website, and their's only one member from The Satellite Years that is still in the band, vocalist Jay Forrest. That's weird. Why would they completely change like that? |

I don't approve of them either. But I'd go to see Codeseven and Hopesfall.

The first one is 100 Demons / Cast Aside / Life or Death, but the one that took the cake was Neurosis, because they're not a touring band and seeing them is a rare opportunity. I'm sad I have to miss the other two, though. I'm thinking about catching the 100 Demons show in Long Beach the next week, though, because I was really looking forward to that. As for the hopesfall member thing: really? Weird. I don't think I ever heard of any members leaving except for one, and I can't remember who it is. That's kind of funny if Jay is the only one left, that means there's not one original member left. |
Blah I like hoods.
|
Blah I like hoods.
you say it like it's a bad thing, the Hoods own all :thumb: |
yeah, i like them a lot too.

*listening to pray for death*

This has been bugging me for a few days...Is screamo a real genre? Yes i've heard of Saetia, CTTS, The Kodan Armada, Kaospilot, Orchid etc. Alot of kids on other forums have been telling me "Just because a band screams, they get their own genre?" and they made a valid point...
|
Well it's not like every band that screams is 'screamo'.
|
yeah I guess you are right.
|
Screamo is it's own genre. Those kids are probably idiots who think that Slipknot is death metal.
How hardcore/metalcore are these new point things? |
Nah, They really dislike Slipknot
