I've had friends who've met their sig others at the bar and they've been together for quite some time now.

Granted it was more that they just happened to meet there it's not like they actively sought potential dates from the bar.

anyway the nice thing about meeting people randomly is that you find out shared interests organically, which i prefer a lot to meeting people on the basis of the music they listen to or whatever

I mean, I prefer to meet chicks in public places since that just sort of throws you into getting to know them right then and there, I just see sites as a supplement

I agree. My bf and I met at a Godsmack concert lmao (sounds like an Alex story with less acne and awkward pop). Granted we don't have the same taste in music ('cause that's obviously important in a relationship) I give him recs and shit to get him into better music haha. We're pretty alike in some aspects and very different in others, it works for us.
