So amazing.

Pluperfect_Arson 10-04-2006 06:56 PM
congrats! i turned 18 on the 23rd of last month. it's cool because you have less restrictions, but then again it's depressing because any crime that would have once been small is now 10x the punishment :(. plus the statutory rape charges that you are now eligible for.
Exactly! We have a three year maximum rule here, though, but I told everyone under the age of sixteen that I wasn't going to be speaking with them anymore.

Not that I talked to that many of them, but still.

And thanks, Gav. <3

I love you. Rep ++ if you do it.

I'm on it. :thumb:

I also have a concert from 2002 that I downloaded if you'd like. It's all FLAC files right now, but I've been meaning to compress them to MP3s anyway.

Edit: Crap, nevermind... the program I have won't take FLAC files. I could just upload those if you want, though.

I have always wanted to know what that would be like. I am delighted!

And, trumpeter, that is my uncle's name.

My name is Nikolaus, and, if you can pronounce it correctly, I will rep you or something.

Ting 10-04-2006 07:06 PM

Question for everyone. Since i'm going to be teaching bass lessons next summer as a sub for my current bass teacher as he is going to europe. Do you think the students will actually take me at all seriously since i'm only 14 (but will be 15).

trumpeter 10-04-2006 07:07 PM

So, I haven't been on the forums in so long, whats up lately>

It's not pronounced the same as Nicolas is it?

What ethnicity is that? It looks Russian or sumthin.
HELL-o everybody
That joke is running pretty thin, dude.

Everyone pronounces it like Nicolas, but, in all reality, it isn't pronounced the same way. It is more like "neek-oh-lous" with "lous" like "loud," but with an "s," obviously.

My mum was given the idea from the Russians, but it is also a German name, and that is the German pronunciation.

My German teacher was the only person to ever called me out by name without calling me like Nicolas. :p

The Brad 10-04-2006 07:15 PM

Ben, I would guess German.

Mr. Pickle 10-04-2006 07:18 PM

anyone who can find me this image of frank black, but it shows his entire head and it is a bit bigger in size will get something special.

Russian, German... same thing. <_<

That's what I had been thinking of, but typed the wrong country.

That's sweet, though.

Yeah. I receive compliments on the spelling of my name, which I think is a bit weird, but oh well.

It doesn't bother me that people pronounce it as "Nicolas" since everyone has been doing that my entire life, so meh.
