But you aren't a mod, I am. And from what I can see, Brent is involved in an argument with about 5 other people, including you, so I'm not sure why you'd think you wouldn't be banned if he was.

Like I've suggested, and like a few others have suggested, just block the guy if he bothers you that much.
My point is that it's not so much that people are arguing with him it's that he pretty much does nothing but flame.

Mappy will tell a story, he'll say he's white trash, someone will say they went out, he calls them an idiot. It's not that I'm personally offended by anything he says but the only thing he contributes to this forum is negative, he barely participates in regular discussion because he's so socially impaired and his only solution for that is to shit all over everyone's posts.

adb 02-03-2011 10:07 PM

yes, calling steve naive "in some aspects" is totally uncalled for

of course I'm naive "in some aspects" as well, but they're unrelated to this "discussion"

which was about druggies I don't even remember anymore

P13 02-03-2011 10:08 PM

his blog is pretty good the only thing is that his photography is shitty and it makes all the food look like refried vomit

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:08 PM

@angmar
9 out 10 posters in this subforum are mean spirited to me even though I am a jolly chap

maybe brent just doesn't like mappy

so mappy can just ignore him and voilą

publicastration 02-03-2011 10:09 PM
yes, calling steve naive "in some aspects" is totally uncalled for
for someone who always cries for founded debate you're doing a brilliant job of backing up that retarded assertion.

a kid who goes out and travels a lot is more naive than a pretentious shut in who spends his time trying to incite arguments on a music forum.

LOGIC

Aakon_Keetreh 02-03-2011 10:09 PM

can we change the subject please

beans 02-03-2011 10:09 PM

I'm gonna take a shower so have this figured out before I get back

Angmar 02-03-2011 10:11 PM

Yeah guys I mean Brent has retarded opinions but nothing will ever change them, he's got his head so far up his ass he can barely comprehend anything that doesn't dwell up there with him so all we're doing is wasting our breath ever talking to him.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Who else is excited for the weekend?

@Jason

A gin and tonic sounds awesome right now not gonna lie.

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:11 PM

whiskey duuuuuh

beans 02-03-2011 10:11 PM

you don't put ice in whisky
just put a drop of water and sip it real slow

Angmar 02-03-2011 10:13 PM

Whiskey on rocks rules wtf.

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:13 PM

y def on the rocks
drop of water LOL

P13 02-03-2011 10:13 PM

whisky by itself > whisky with a bunch of melted ice in it

unless you just drink it really fast which kinda ruins the point

drop of water opens up the flavour

@elim
pretty snog

this really is an archetypal steve post. Really has so much logical foundation and oozes with intelligence. At least I can actually argue my viewpoints without excessive fallacies. You are the fallacy king, steve.

I have arguments and you just shit on them constantly regardless of how half-serious my nature is.

Aakon_Keetreh 02-03-2011 10:14 PM
whiskey duuuuuh
i like you now

Angmar 02-03-2011 10:15 PM

I think it's important to ask what kind of whiskey in regards to whether it's better straight or on rocks.

P13 02-03-2011 10:15 PM

I think I'm going to have a glass of whisky since my carafe is still dirty so I can't have some coffee

@steve
I usually have bourbon whisky

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:15 PM

@brent
ok that post made no sense

Angmar 02-03-2011 10:16 PM

All I have is a gallon and a half of wine right now, going to be utilizing that this weekend for sure.
'sup mappy
just chillin, finished writing 3 emo songs w/ my friend, we rewrote the lyrics and added to the one we recorded this weekend.

i did roxy today so we couldnt record, cause like we tried just live taking it for that song, and it sounded so much better, but then i got drip during the second verse and lol.

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:16 PM

what kind of emo

Larry Bird 02-03-2011 10:17 PM

3 snogs of scene loev and unityy

witchxrapist 02-03-2011 10:19 PM
what kind of emo
acoustic pop punky twinkly stuff

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:20 PM

that sounds like the opposite of emo

speaking of emo check out the newest underground totally obscure post on http://www.thatspunk.net/blog

woofrabbit_ 02-03-2011 10:21 PM

no.

blockhead 02-03-2011 10:21 PM

i have no problem at all, in fact i consider him to be my friend. he disagrees with me about a lot of stuff but i don't really care. he can call me a drug addict or w/e it doesn't really offend me, i'm aware that i have a problem with drugs and it is totally irrelevant to my point. which is and always has been:

1. being happy is worth being depressed later and is better than always being in the middle

2. he will have just as much of a problem relating to people after he gets a job

Angmar 02-03-2011 10:21 PM

Bourbon is good but not my favorite whiskey, I feel some of them are too sweet but I enjoy Wild Turkey, Jim Bean and Makers Mark.

I really like Irish whiskey, Scotch is obviously good but you have to pay top dollar for it, getting cheap blended Scotch is a waste of money since they don't taste as good as the Irish whiskey that costs about the same.
@brent
ok that post made no sense
it made sense

I have been apart of countless arguments because my viewpoints are not generic college kid with the college attitude/perceptions of life and other shit

steve is the king of putting words in my mouth, asserting things with no foundation, and overall calling me names/insulting

yeah I insult and call people names, but not at the rate he does and other users do to me. I never put words in peoples mouths or assert things without evidence.

I don't argue things I don't know. People fail to realize my opinions are founded on generalizations and probabilities, which sure is better than having no foundation at all other than how I'm perceived on the internet.

opinion based on a generalization is the worst kind of opinion to have

aria 02-03-2011 10:24 PM

christsimpson 02-03-2011 10:24 PM
