i think it's safe to say that whatever style or sub-sub-genre it may be, death metal is not varied

it's not a matter of a single band having variation (which deeds do), but of the entire genre having more stylistic variance. plus, bdm has, on the avg, a far greater number of separate riffs per song which makes for less repetition which makes for more variance, ppl with dicks for ears who cant distinguish between riffs excluded

Well, Autopsy is my favorite death metal band, wasn't so much as I sat there and thought about which bands to pick and compare to try and validate my point. Anyway, we're going to just keep disagreeing, with a bunch of "nuh-uh" vs. "yeah-huh"... I'm done, we likes what we likes and hates what we hates.
