I believe it was, "Fourth's the one with the Golden Eagle".

It's all about sylablles, it sounds pretentious if there's too little sylablles.

We have Maths Tommorow, With Miss Furgeson, I'd rant but you'd all be bored and very suprised at how long I'd rant for.

Thinking of going to colleage.

Advantages, disadvantages.

Now!

if you don't, go, you won't succeed at life.

True, that is a deffinite plus point.

hey hey children

i really should start posting more often, but **** uni works getting serious, who'd have thought a degree in physics would be so hard? Damn schroedinger and his quantum fantasises

I'm in L6 now, but i'm hoping to study physics at uni

where you at and what's it like?

bobbass4k 10-03-2005 03:02 PM

pfft, GCSE physics, you wanna try super-string theory - theoretically according to super string theory god could be the 8'th space-time dimension

im in 2nd year at uddersfield and its ace, 3/4 of my new flatmates are girls :naughty: and the only other guy is gay, but the best bit of it all, i got to meet patrick stewart

I'm familiar with that, although obviously my feeble human mind can't comprehend more than 4 dimensions

I wrote an intresting theory in a physics homework about the nonexistance of god- it was a proof, although it relied on mathmatecal alws so its not gonna pwn any christians just yet

"ohshi-, you're right, there is no god :upset:"

"ohwait, god is beyond the laws of maths,"

bobbass4k 10-03-2005 03:11 PM

haha, cool, pwning christians is the best bit about science

and please tell me you dont think time is the 4th dimension?

moaner 10-03-2005 03:21 PM
haha, cool, pwning christians is the best bit about science

fuck no, that's a load of rubbish. If time had to be a dimension it'd be the n+1th dimension, but i don't really consider it a dimension.

I consider the fourth dimension as why space is curved.

If you took a 2D peice of paper and drew some people on it. they could move around their 2D world.

If you then turned the paper into a roll, they could go stright on, yet still find things around them (3 dimensional things like light) appeared to be going in a sort of curve.

add one t each dimension and its the same for us.

I can't find any working examples in ym head for anything furhter, although the theory is the same.

bobbass4k 10-03-2005 03:26 PM

ahhhhhhhh, ive found a prodigy, thats the most insipring thing ive heard all day

i generally say it as the 4thdimension is parrallel to the first 3 (visible) therefore seen as all knowkn laws of physics are founded in a 3d universe, anyone who could exist in the 4th would be able to do anything (of course they wouldnt exist as we can perceive but thats enitrely different)

what uni you at dude?

My mum thinks i should go to cambridge, but then i might have to keep on chemistry next year

I thought York and Manchester looked cool, although manchesters a tiny bit close to home (hour on the train)
