Yeah, Conan rules. Too bad I never stay up to watch him. :(

I'm out now.

Good night Pop-Punk.

Ah, it works on here.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 07-24-2006 11:55 PM

I record him.

TiVo ftw.

Permanent Solution 07-25-2006 12:42 AM

Chilly-Bean-Bop 07-25-2006 12:42 AM

We won't stir up much conversation, I think we're the only ones online.

Permanent Solution 07-25-2006 12:48 AM

Hehehe, I wasn't even sure if you were.

You last posted like an hour ago.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 07-25-2006 12:49 AM

Yeah, MX was going really slow.

Permanent Solution 07-25-2006 12:50 AM

But not for me! Yay.

So I'm bored. and sunburned :(

Mute Print 07-25-2006 01:01 AM

Poor Vince. :(

Permanent Solution 07-25-2006 01:02 AM

Yeah, boo for Warped being on a hot day :-\

I was outside for like 9 hours with no sunscreen hehe

Fish 07-25-2006 01:04 AM

sunscreen smells funny

Mute Print 07-25-2006 01:04 AM

Warped Tour is a week from tomorrow for me. So far, it doesn't look like a bad day, temperature-wise. 78 degrees. A chance of thunderstorms though.

I hope there isn't a huge storm like there was last year. :-\

Fish 07-25-2006 01:05 AM

warped tour isnt till august 12th for me <_<

Awww, I'm jealous. It was mid-90's all day. Didn't start dropping till about 7. I wish it had been raining instead.

Your Warped is on a Saturday? That's pretty cool.

I'm seeing Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and Whole Wheat Bread that day.

Rain would be nice, but last year we had an insane storm. I had to run like half a mile to the car, and it was pouring. A ton of lightning too.

It was the coolest storm I've ever seen. :p

I'm seeing them Aug 2 or 3, and Rancid the other of those days. I get them mixed up :-\

Pfft, you wimps. Stick it out :p

PS, for all interested:

Bands I saw the full set of: Saves the Day, Rise Against, Zebrahead, Motion City Soundtrack, 30 Seconds to Mars, Anti-Flag

Bands I saw most of the set of: The Early November, Against Me!, Hellogoodbye, Gym Class Heroes, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Bouncing Souls, Armor for Sleep, The Academy Is..., Thursday

# of CDs bought: 6

# of free CDs: 6

# of t-shirts bought: 3

# of band autographs taken: 3

Highlights: Motion City Soundtrack had the most intense crowd surfing I've ever seen going on. I could literally see rows of surfers moving forward. Hell, half the time I was pushing up one person after another. It lasted the whole set too.

Zebrahead was great. I've never been to a show where even when I don't know most of the songs I'm having a blast. They were great about talking to and involving the crowd. Then I met them later, real chill guys.

Rise Against was awesome. First 3 songs were the openers to their last 3 album, very high energy.

Thursday was worth staying around for. I left during their last song to beat traffic but it was a great show, I wish they hadn't been the last band up.

Anti-Flag had the biggest circle pit I've ever seen. It was about 60 feet in diameter. Yeah. Insane.

Hellogoodbye had an inflatable bull that one of the band members used to crowd surf on while they all wore costumes and climbed up the sides of the stage. Funniest thing I saw all day, the whole crowd was cracking up.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 07-25-2006 01:08 AM

I missed Warped. :(

I might end up seeing AWS as long as school orientation doesn't interfere. They're the first band playing. =\

 but the line up was so good this year!

Where are you seeing AWS?

Mute Print 07-25-2006 01:11 AM

I'm not sure if I'm going to see Rancid when they come to town, as there is another show I want to go to the same day.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Thursday and Rise Against at Warped. AFI, NOFX, and the Bouncing Souls too, among others.

Chelsea: AWS is amazing.

Which?

omg I wish AFI had played my date :( I missed their actual tour because it sold out before I had money and scalpers were charging 100+ per ticket :( I missed NOFX because I was chatting with TEN and Hellogoodbye *shrug*

I know it was! Wait, didn't I already tell you why I didn't go?

I might see them at the House of Blues.

Brian: Yeah, I really hope that I end up going.

Excursions 07-25-2006 01:13 AM

That sounds like a lame-ass show Vince.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 07-25-2006 01:14 AM

I'm heading off to bed.

Night everyone.

Left Alone, The Phenomenauts, and No Trigger. It's not as good of a show, especially since Big D is opening for Rancid, but I work at the club that's holding the Left Alone show.

AFI didn't come here on their actual tour, so I'm really excited that they're here on Warped.

Night Chels.

Sad times.
That sounds like a lame-ass show Vince.
nou

Brian: I like No Trigger, don't know the other 2. Big D is sweet live though.

Mute Print 07-25-2006 01:19 AM

Yeah, Big D is awesome live. I'm probably gonna go to the Rancid show just for them.
