One is the best of the ballads by far, Blackened is a sweet album opener, To Live is to Die is the best and has the most meening then any other song they've done, Dyers Eve has the best solo Kirks ever done, (this can be argued, but I like it the most) Harvester of Sorrows intro riffs are so awesome, it makes me want to die, and the title track has sweet riffs/lyrics.

I did say IMO. Fade to Black is great, but I don't care for the vocals/lyrics. Plus the ending is a bit predictable/cheesy... Ones ending is metal madness with some sweet soloing. :D

One is not the best ballad in my opinion.
Blackened however is my favorite Metallica song.
I agree about To Live Is To Die.
I personally hate Kirk's solo in Dyer's Eve.
I also hate Harvester Of Sorrow.
The title track does rock.

Eye of the Beholder and Frayed Ends Of Sanity are awesome in my book. Same with Shortest Straw.

Master Of Puppets RULES!

How can you hate Kirks solo in Dyers Eve? That one melody is really nice, one of the few times Kirk has feel in his solos.

I dont think one good melody can make up for the massive amount of wah and boring licks he used in that solo imo...

Eh, I like the solo. The one time I can really tolerate his use of wah. He uses lots of cool things in that solo IMO.

5- they're good but i wouldn't die over them
6- yes it is, but about 4 minutes of them don't need to be there

RTL --
1. Coolish intro, don't like the singing but very headbangable
2. Probably one of the hardest corest of their riffs
3. Best non solo song, easily
4. Best ballad, no doubt
5. Best use of wah i'd say
6/7. very hardcore songs, not my favorites but very good
8. best instrumental solos

those are my reasons why RTL is the best
