My dad was this close to being a doctor, but then he finally decided to become a teacher. I always respected him for that, sort of giving back...although I guess doctors do that too. He teaches special ed now.

Meh we basically kicked him out tbh, my mom had had enough. The result of a lifetime of verbal abuse and there wasn't even a relationship there at all.

So yeah we're one of the cases where it was a very positive thing.

After the verbal abuse and everything, but it really sucks that you were in that situation in the first place.

Sometimes idk I wish I could live in a shack in the woods by myself like Gaahl or something. I like people and everything, but I frequently find myself either fearing them or trying to live up to my idea of their expectations for me, which is often badly distorted.

My dad is basically me, but smarter and actually musically talented. We have the exact same sense of humour and demeanour and personality basically.

My dad was my hero and I try every day to put a little bit more of who he was into myself.

I lived in the desert with my family for 3 years. I wouldn't reccomend it, it gets extremely lonely.

I like my Dad, we have a rocky relationship sometimes but overall it's good. Most of the conflict stems from the fact that I'm the slacker in the family and he's the perfectionist. We both like the same sports and stuff, but we don't talk very much since I can be pretty introverted (something I got from him). It's kinda weird at times.
