The one I had before was [I]Easter[/I] and I just downloaded the one with the longass title from the mailing list.

Oh yeah, Oxeneers. That album is their best I think. The songs are simpler, they kind of take one riff and repeat it endlessly, there's less of the technical, intricate riffing of Easter. But Oxeneers has more good songs and is catchier.

the long song on rusty is good

if you're not really paying attn to it and just feel it, i listened to it like 3 times in a row once it was almost like an epiphany

the rest of it is ok

Today I'm digging SYR 1 and 2. I think they're both really good and show a different side of Sonic Youth. Unfortunately I could only find downloads for them at 128kb/s, anyone wanna hook me up with a higher quality version?

Also right now listening to Avey Tare & Kria Brekkan's [I]Pullhair Rubeye[/I]. I downloaded both the original and reversed versions and while the reversed one is way more coherent and listenable, the original version is still really cool and trippy.
