How do you explain women who have sex with random people all the time? I think it's poor self esteem and morals. For example I know a girl who has slept with 30+ people and she's 21. I don't think there's any kind of reasonable explanation for that other than her being a slut.

I did answer the question, I said I think they're scumbags. She should control herself more in my opinion especially since 1/4 of sexually active adults in America have Herpes and even more people have HPV. I didn't say my "armchair psychology" was definitively correct or anything. A lot of psychologists seem to think that's true too from what I've understand (about the father issues and poor self esteem.)

I think our society is way too PC and wants to be tolerant of things that really shouldn't be accepted.

You don't think that makes sense from a biological/evolutionary standpoint? It makes sense to me, men want to pass on their genes as much as possible and women want the best potential mate.

Using biochemical justifications for human mating is ignoring a whole raft a concepts like social conditioning, the concept of the family heirachy and economic motivations for mating.

And I think it's disgusting and morally wrong for a man or woman to have sex with random people on a regular basis. I don't believe in that. I don't do it and I look down on people who do it regularly. I think as a civilized species we should be able to control our base instincts and b more selective of our sexual partners.

I still think it makes a lot of sense. Even if that's not totally correct I still think it's morally wrong and the risks of accidental pregnancy and STDs also factor into it.

Wow, no shit. It's called self control. Like I said, I have had my share of one night stands but I try not to any more because I feel trashy for it. If I do have casual sex I at least try to make sure it's someone I've known a long time, feel like I can trust and we actually care about each other besides just using each other as masturbation tools.
