I wouldn't advise it, as no attention will be payed to it by the admins, and it'll only create bad feelings if the winner of the vote and the new mod don't match up.

Give us a while to discuss it, and then it'll be a while longer before anything actually happens, as mx has to do it, and he's usually super-busy.

I knew I was going to be a mod for about a week before it happened. It was quite funny because at that point everyone else was still guessing and I just had to sit quiet!

Well first the mods cast their votes in ANCIENT VOTING MACHINES.

Then after it's over, they have to recount the votes.

Bring in the lawyers to prove that there was voter fraud.

Check the voting machines for accuracy.

Have both candidates declare themselves mod.

Have the votes recounted again.

Have the absentee ballots come in.

And finish the day with a banana smoothie.

A local mod can delete every thread in their designated forum at the touch of a button.

All mods are trusted with a lot of power. That's one reason the selection process is taken seriously.

I would hope so too! I would hate someone like me to end up modding. If I were in any position of authority, I think the bass forum would catch on fire...
