Schyma:

Lynyrd Skynyrd choices:
"Comin' Home" "Call Me The Breeze" "Sweet Home Alabama" "I Ain't the One" "Don't Ask Me No Questions"

Steppenwolf: "Born to be Wild" "The Pusher"

The Doobie Brothers: "Black Water"

My mistake.

Your mistake indeed.

Just came back from the jazz festival. I had solo, it went well.

I must admit, I'm still adiicted to Mountain. I'm really starting to want Nantucket Sleighride, since I've heard it's better than Climbing!

That isn't exactly "tripping".

And don't smoke opium; the drug is highly addictive.

How should I know? The only knowledge I have as of now is from Timothy Leary and my friends.

JonG 03-16-2005 08:49 PM

Hmm, I tried bud back in the 6th grade...:\

In your guys' opinion, what is the best Beatles and Grateful Dead albums.

I'm thinking of buying The White Album, Sgt. Peppers, American Beauty, and Workingmans Dead.

You just said you were a tripper

Badmoon 03-16-2005 08:53 PM

I really couldn't choose a favorite Grateful Dead album without feeling bad that I left others out. Call me a fanboy, I may sound biased often, but I am 100% sincere about everything I state about them.

I'm going to make one of Rateyourmusic.com for the stuido recordings. I'll try to break it down, it'll be hard though.
You just said you were a tripper
Well, not yet. I just posted corrected his termanology.

wanton 03-16-2005 08:56 PM

Anyone ever heard "Mountains of the Moon" by the Grateful Dead. It's on AOXOMOXOA. I like the old timey or mid-evil feel of it, certainly doesn't sound like anything else they did.

Try salvia, extremely cheap, and the trip is intense BUT only lasts about (maximum) 15 minutes, if you enjoy it, try mushrooms, then graduate to acid.

If you guys want to guarantee yourself a trip free of paranoia and other bad things (AKA a pleasant trip) then listen to this song in the early stages:

"Witchi Tai To" by Harpers Bizzarre, I think it's from like 1969. Works every time, guaranteed because of the bells or something, and its a good song.

Yea, Tom Constanten plays harpsichord on that track. He's a great player.

It oddly enough has the name "Tom Banjo", ;)

I've tried Salvia before its awsome my mind created like this whole other world in my head.

And on the topic I think The White Album is the best, only because I feel it shows all the different styles of the Beatles on one album.

Salvia is pretty crazy, they sell it at the headshop downtown. I hear they're (the government) is making it illegal soon, which is d'amn shame.

Yeah, the White Album is great

I love American Beauty, I'm not sure which album to buy next though. Guess I'll go with #2 Wake of the Flood.

Do you think it really matters if it's illegal or not? It will probably just become more abundant and cheaper in price.

Last weekend while on salvia, me and my friend actually took a trip together..it was really strange. We both smoked it at the same time, and suddenly we were both overlooking a countryside with a forest and a village. I immediately started running towards the forest because it looked so cool, and my friend started picking apples. But then I looked over and he was tearing a whole in the air, and then he turned everything inside out into a little bag (it's hard to explain). Everyone said the whole time, we were sitting there and he looked like he was picking apples, but I was swatting his hands away and screaming "nooo" because I thought he was tearing a hole in the air. It was fun though. Gonna do it again this weekend. Along with mushrooms. I've done shrooms four times so far...the second trip was by far the best.

I'm not sure what my favourite Beatles album is...either Sgt Peppers or Abbey Road.

JonG 03-16-2005 09:34 PM

Yeah, I have Revolver, Abbey Road, and the Blue and Red CDs..

NP : CSNY-Ohio

American Beauty is the only studio Dead album I own, well aside from Skeletons from the Closet. The rest are just a countless number of live albums, but I feel that I have enough (maybe even all of their songs) on live albums.
